Okay: can I just make it a battle effect? So it only activates when Hex enters battle? And two: I thought about the fire thing and its just too complicated to sort out, so it'd just be simpler without it. I can throw on flames if I got some if I want too, the leaves don't have to be on fire.
The only reason I wanted the leaves on fire was for the effect but after your comment, it made question the feasibility of it. I can throw in flames if I want. So, by reason, flames would complicate things.
And would anyone near Hex take damage (including allies?) cause it says its a gentle cloud.
Personal Item: A small totem made out of snowflake obsidian and shaped like a dragonfly.
Ely already has this in her inventory. It's just a keepsake currently. However, as both the dragonfly and obsidian reflect fire elements. (Obsidian is created by hardened lava) I would like to create an item that could cauterize an open wound without the obvious burn effects if one did it with a heated knife. It would seal the wound closed. Keep a character from constantly bleeding, and stave off infection. I have no idea how to word this currently. It's only an idea that is rolling around in my head and I wanted some feedback.

These might be for future items Hex will use personally. I am posting this here because I don't want anyone to steal these ideas/if they are even feasible. I would like to purchase them in the future, and having a known price on each thing would help.
Salamander - The spirit of fire lies within this orb, forged with the flames of passion and desire, emanating flames. - Orb, One Handed Ranged Weapon. - The skill required to use this item is based upon the Fire Magic talent. - This orb deals fire damage. - Controlling the orb decreases in fatigue for every point in Fire Magic, from major to nil.
Undine - The spirit of water lies the orb, forged with the waves of compassion and empathy, emanating bubbles. - Orb, One Handed Ranged Weapon. - The skill required to use this item is based upon the Water Magic talent. - This orb deals water damage. - Controlling the orb decreases in fatigue for every point in Water Magic, from major to nil.
Basically, these do not increase the potency of his magic, nor can they create such, but rather these are magic one handed weapons of the spirits of nature in which guide him. They are more for RP effect and unique weapons that Hex wields. The are NOT the elements themselves, but spirits of those elements, and thus DEAL damage on that type.
Sylph - The spirit of wind lies the belt, forged with the gales of joy and freedom, emanating leaves. - Belt. - While in combat, leaves surround the user as a gently moving cloud of leaves. - Any Wind Magic by the user will influence the leaves. - These leaves are sharp, capable of cutting as a lesser projectile. - These leaves are immune to fire or flame of any kind.
Gnome - The spirit of earth lies the gloves, forged with the stones of peace and security, emanating sand. - Gloves. - While in combat, the gloves sparkle with sand. - The user may use Earth Magic harden his skin to stone-strength. - This provides a minor boost to defense and a minor reduction in movement. - Doing so will induce fatigue accordingly for every turn it's held.
These two are basically utility: The first one being more of a offensive item, while the second a more of a defensive item. I put drawbacks to the defensive item, as the harder his skin, the less movement he has.
I am not processing prices for anything the person simply will not have the money for, as it could be months before they have the gold and their concepts and wants will change by then.

The only cauterization I know of that doesn't leave behind much in the way of burn scarring is laser ablation work, and that's really just very high temperature that is insanely finely controlled. You might be able to achieve the same effect at lower temperature with very fine control, have it be just enough heat to seal the wound without being so bad that it starts to leave a wake of additional tissue damage.
But I'm trying to explain it, and screw that, it's magic. This isn't Dresden, we don't slow dance with physics.
Dragon's Kiss - a small snowflake obsidian pendant shaped like a dragonfly - the owner may call upon the magical heat of this item to seal any minor to major wound preventing the wounded from suffering further bleeding - wounds healed in this way will not scar, blemish, or otherwise leave behind visible evidence of their existence - usable x times per day/adventure/scene (not sure how often you'd like it to work)
That sound about right?
Ha HA! I kill you with my flaming sword of doom. You die.
Dragon's Kiss - A small snowflake obsidian pendant shaped like a dragonfly by a forgotten Cathian healer. - Accessory. - The owner may call upon the magical heat of this item to seal any minor to major wound preventing the wounded from suffering further bleeding or chance of infection. - Wounds healed in this way will not scar, blemish, or otherwise leave behind visible evidence of their existence. - Usable 3 times per adventure.
How's that Ely? I added an image and cleaned up a bit of Enuyu's wording.

I did not mean for it to be an uber powerful item. I do like how it is worded, thanks Enuyu and Kiko. Umm. How about just once an adventure? And something about Ely accepting half of the pain caused by the wound? Her patient would have the other half. But, she would need to deal with the pain so it would be a rare occurrence for her to use it.

Or that it doesn't heal the wound but simply keeps it from bleeding out or some other nasty effect. The wound would still need to be fully healed later. Kinda like a "quick fix" field medic type of thing...?
It was talked about that its too complicated to have specialty arrows, so Im wondering about a biw that causes the arrows to catch on fire? If it needs cloth or anything Ivy can get it on an adventure or something lol. If I CAN get this bow, how much would it be?
Kindle - Created for an Elven warrior who had no talent for starting a campfire. - Two-handed melee weapon. - Arrows from this bow do not do normal damage but rather set your target on fire. - This power is equal to a level 1 fire spell. Warning: The target will remain on fire taking damage for as many rounds as the wielder has points in two-handed melee. - $500
Something like this Ivy?
