Naturewind - The leaves from the Takayama forests are said to be as hard as steel, yet as natural as the trees. - Belt, no defensive value. - Leaves constantly surround the user as a gently moving cloud of leaves. - Any wind magic by the user will influence the leaves. - These leaves are sharp, capable of cutting as a lesser projectile. - These leaves are immune to fire or flame of any kind. - At the end of the battle, all the leaves are returned to the wearer. I would like to purchase this, since I am pretty sure that the price is within my limits.
I would like to submit something for consideration of the admin. I would like to order a custom belt of little consequence, to carry some medical supplies. Given my background with the Drow and my medicine and ingenuity levels, I would like to be approved to have my own custom medicinal supplies. For example, a synthetic spider webbing which would be used like a magical suture, a poison remedy or a heavy sedative of questionable origins. The items would be for rp purposes, with real effects of course. They would compliment my skills.
I would like to be able to manufacture these items given my knowledge and skill in creation, for my own use. I will pay for the belt.
I am willing to pay for materials and count them as one would count potions, but feel that such micromanagement isn't entirely necessary, given that they aren't game changing.
I see nothing against it Shen. You have the talent points and if you buy the ingredients the creation should be simple enough. I'm curious to have it roleplayed.

Ironleaf Shuriken - The leaves from the Takayama forests are said to be as hard as steel, yet as natural as the trees. - Shuriken. - These thin magical leaves are razor sharp and as tough as normal shuriken. - When used in wind magic, the leaves grant a minor bonus to damage. - They cannot burn or be manipulated by metal magic.

Alright Hex, admin is a little baffled by this item for the following reasons. They're not reasons to say no, we just don't see any practical application of the item.
- They are shuriken, you're not talented with throwing weapons. - They cannot be actually manipulated by wind magic, they're flotsam. Debris. All wind magic can use random items in this manner. All wind magic can have projectiles that would hurt when hit by it. All wind magic can cut you wide open WITHOUT any assistance, so there seems to be little point to this. - The mentioned 'minor increase to damage when used in wind magic' would be completely off set by the fatigue required to control them. Spend the same fatigue on making your magic stronger. - Were Kiga to use a knife as a projectile in his wind magic, the difference in damage could be alarming, as he could accelerate the projectile beyond human limits. He has done this before.
Therefore, the only thing we see of use in this item is that it cannot be manipulated by metal magic, which isn't saying much. They don't do anything that cannot already been done and all in all, just seem rather useless. Being that you want them enchanted and custom though, they will cost and for what?

1) I am pretty sure that even though Hex doesn't have points in 1H Ranged Weaponry, the practical use of this would be more of the wind magic portion. Hex might have ranged weaponry proficiency later... I am not sure. 2) I do not control the leaves with wind magic, but rather the wind carries the leaves with it, which shouldn't cause more fatigue cause they are leaves, which naturally blow in the wind. That said, they can be blown away by wind as well. I see this as since the wind naturally carries leaves without any extra force due to the drag of the leaves, using them in wind magic would do the same. That's why it's a minor boost. 3) The purpose of this was more than just this item, as there will be a second item that incorporates this item into it, but I need to refine that item more and earn some more cash before I can really put it into action, but it will have something to do with controlling the leaves physically on a larger scale, and just these leaves. THAT is where the fatigue will come into play. 4) This is part of Hex's theme of being part Dryad, and I wanted something simple to start off with that is the basis for his other, stronger item.
That being said, I guess I'll hold off on it for now. I understand your reasoning and I will be thinking of how to improve this.
Point 2 is incorrect. Leaves aren't bound to the wind, if you don't exert the fatigue to control your projectiles, they are going to end up all over the place and you'll slowly end up losing them all. Controlling an item with your wind is going to stress you some, rather than just attacking with wind alone.

Mmkay: I'll rethink this, maybe even completely scrap it. But it was worth a try. Thanks for pointing it out to me so I didn't create a pointless item haha.
I understand you want the flair of the item. But really, any actual advantage was nullified. You can still have the item, but perhaps you should just simplify it and make it flair only. There is a better way to do it.
- The leaves constantly surround the user as a gently moving cloud of leaves. - Any wind magic by the user will influence the leaves. - These leaves are sharp, capable of cutting as a lesser projectile. - These leaves are immune to fire or flame of any kind.
Clean that up, you get flair and some use out of them, but without the complications.

That is what my other item was gonna do haha: but that is actually perfect! So does that mean the leaves still induce more fatigue, or does the wind magic influencing the leaves get rid of that?
Dependent on precision. And there should be something about them returning to the user.
