That would be better than making your hand useless when the item is active.

Naturewind - The leaves from the Takayama forests are said to be as hard as steel, yet as natural as the trees. - Belt, no defensive value. - Leaves constantly surround the user as a gently moving cloud of leaves. - Any wind magic by the user will influence the leaves. - The leaves can catch fire but will not burn up. - Water will douse the burning leaves. - These leaves are sharp, capable of cutting as a lesser projectile.
I edited it so that it's just one item, that surrounds the character with leaves. I also got rid of the burning part because that takes away cause, well, a flaming whirlwind of leaves sound cool to me. If that is too much, you can tell me to turn it back to what it was: I don't mind.
That is an awful lot more. It will be priced accordingly and you would still need ignition.

Leave it with me. Non burning leaves on fire is an odd one. Can they ignite other things in turn?

I think it should do extra damage, but not ignite other things, cause then it would be really easy to abuse. I imagined it that it would make a spiral of fiery windy leaves, but it wouldn't catch other things on fire... But it would do fire damage, you know?

After thinking about it, just take the fire part out. It's too complicated and doesn't really add anything to role play besides flair.
Sylph - The spirit of wind lies the belt, forged with the gales of joy and envy, emanating leaves. - Belt, no defensive value. - While in combat, leaves surround the user as a gently moving cloud of leaves. - Any wind magic by the user will influence the leaves. - These leaves are sharp, capable of cutting as a lesser projectile. - These leaves are immune to fire or flame of any kind.
Constantly surrounding the user? So, when wearing the belt, in battle or not, the leaves obscure you, spinning around? Even while just walking through town? That's going to paint a huge flaming arrow over your head that screams MAGE RIGHT HERE. If a town is suspicious of magic you would be a perfect target to be thrown on a pit of fire or crushed to death as a witch.

“Put some clothes on, you weird, yellow-eyed, table-dancing, werewolf-training, cryptic, stare-me-right-in-the-eyes-and-don't-even-blink wench.”
Well yes and his hugs won't be very nice, what with the shredding leaves of death all about him. Don't grab the wrong leaf to wipe your butt with either... lol.
Alright, my first round of ideas. The belt is nothing flash, just useful. This is the rough concepts, I shall clean up wording and format later after your feedback. Thank you.
Shen's Webbing. - A combined belt and harness, used to carry both his tome and his diverse his medicinal supplies. - Belt item. - Has 12 slots for Shen's varied medicinal items. - Can carry two other general pouches, per a normal belt. - More resilient than leather and other typical counterparts, it is very resistant to damage and can bear Shen's weight if need be.
Dreadmoss powder. - A foul smelling but popular herb for it's psychotropic effects in it's purest form. - Can remove and prevent (3 rounds) any mental interference upon the consumer. - Reduces the consumer's mental talent by 2 points for 3 rounds.
Sinspider Silk. - Harvested from the very beautiful and altogether deadly Sinsppider, this webbing is considered the toughest amongst all arachnids. - Acts as a very fast binding 'dressing' on open wounds, tugging wounds closed and sealing the flesh.
Shen's Antivenom. - A potent brew most certainly as deadly as venom itself, it must be administered in the right dose. - This antivenom will counteract all venom but the user must remain immobile or suffer further damage and/or accelerate the effects of the venom. - Rounds needed for full effect based on severity of venom and at GM's discretion.
Shen's antidote. - Whilst life saving, hardly the most eloquent solution. - This antidote can counteract any and all poison. - The user will suffer extreme nausea, up to and including both vomiting and feinting. - Duration of these effects based on severity of poison and GM's discretion.
I will come up with exotic names for the last two and revamp them all of course. I hope you don't mind me adding ideas here as they come to mind.
Some form of pain killer. - No name and no real refinement, but medicine doesn't always help pain. Something rather narcotic I imagine, making the patient somewhat feeble, though quite happy.
Some form of mental stimulant. - Perhaps it could address severe levels of magic fatigue, the downside being a very serious crash after a set amount of rounds. Of course, the patient will likely look to spend their magic before the timer. Therefore, it should induce sleep, or worse if abused.
I could also come up with cures for other magical effects such as paralysis and petrification and the like, but these are very rarely used in game which seems a real shame.
