Venom finished his apple and then took a seat next to the fire, looking at the meat before them. He smiled watching Chaz get his part of the meal. Smart little fellow. Venom was hungry, but decided to wait until it cooled down on it's own. He looked over at the cathian.
His face covered in grease and his mouth full of meat, he nodded.
Ish good.
A good scientist is a person with original ideas. A good engineer is a person who makes a design that works with as few original ideas as possible.

Venom takes out his dagger and carefully cuts a piece off the meat, at times blowing at his fingers from the heat it gave off. Once he had it in his hand, he blows at it to cool it down some before taking a bite. He nodds to Ragnir with a grin as he eats.
Kerag already finished two other apples, wanting to conserve how much he ate of the meat, knowing his appetite he wouldn't leave much if any at all for his friends let alone a dragon. The orc took the knife from the lower shaft of his axe and cut a few slices for himself, cheerfully chowing down.
Venom cut a few more pieces and ate them before licking his fingers and watching the others eat. He sat back, satisfied with his meal and wiped his dagger with his pants before sheathing it.
So Ragnir, you seem like a pretty inteligent person. What would make you want to go to our tavern and get youself drowned in alcohol?

Kerag only shook his head, surprised with Venom's lack of tact, but ready to answer Ragnir's more relevant question. The orc took out his pipe, lighting and taking a deep drag from it, red smoke drifting upwards from his nostrils. He pointed at Chaz.
"The cathian will make us a cart for taking what we can back, If anything can be taken back, it will be the head. Assuming we have the time, Chaz can get scales from other places on its body to play with."
Kerag hit his pipe again.
"I'm assuming you will want something from the carcass as well, should be enough for everyone no?"
Venom guessed it was a personal reason for Ragnir not to respond him back. He ignored it as if he had never asked him at all. The carcass? Venom was in it for the safety of the virgins and the gold, they could keep their dragon. He kept his mouth shut tho.
I intend to salvage everything I can from it. He wiped his hands on his pants and leaned back, thinking.
Scales, bones. I could probably make a cart given a day or so. We can use that to take back anything we can't carry. How big is it, exactly?
He looked to Ragnir.

Chaz looks back, his face a little blank and absent as he did the math, but completely innocent. Ragnir might have seen the gears turning in his head.
No. Probably not. Most of it we'd leave, we'd cut it up and take only the valuable parts. Sell some of it to liquidize it into gold and keep some of it for ourselves.

"Aye some profit from this venture will be nice. Charles...I have a request, or rather I'd like to know before going through the trouble of killing the giant lizard."
The orc rubbed the back of his neck, popping it to one side, and then the other, breathing a heavy sigh of relief. His neck was too tense as of late, probably old age. He opened his mouth and pointed to one of his large tusk-like teeth.
"Say we slay the bloody creature, would you be capable of fashioning a two-handed sword from one of it's teeth?"
