Keeping her voice soft, she ran a hand on it's head;
"That's right. I know there is a man inside, show me and let...sort this out." Moving her hips slitghly, she knew that if her success was only going to be achived if she could get passed the beast, and talk to the man inside.
Running her spare hand up her leg and placing it on her hip, Dionne let a small smile dance on her lips.
Having tried to get some distance from the werebear, Redblade then turned to see if he was being chased. He was shocked to see that it wasn't chasing after them at all, but instead cuddling around Dionne, which just seemed really odd to him. In shock, he stopped to watch what outcome would unfold before him.
This can not be true.

"I fought the law and then I was broken out... Is that a bad thing?"
Miroslaw would never drop his weapons by his own will. He did not even believe this thing was anything more than a beast. Something told him this girl knew something he did not. Perhaps it was her resolve, perhaps something different entirely. As he saw the entire party fleeing except for the girl, he moved his feet to follow the retreat.
Looking back over his shoulder, he saw the beast standing right before Dionne, but not attacking. That was the last he saw before they moved behind the brush he was running into, out of sight. His immediate assumption was foul magic of some nature, but what kind of magic was taking place that could take a completely bestial animal?
Miroslaw stopped and waited a little while. He intended on going back to see what came of the scene he witnessed... but he would give it time.
Death is no more than turning us over from time to eternity. Whether that eternity is damnation or salvation is determined in the time we have.
Dionne made the beast feel calm, and after the trauma it endured to escape being lunch for the den of wicked arachnids, it found itself exhausted and its giant form slumped to the ground as the huntress stroked its head.
Redblade and the Dwarf witnessed the scene before them as they returned to investigate why bloody murder wasn't hot on their heels; the lady of the group had effectively stopped the beast with her looks alone. It was at peace it seemed, not intent on attacking their companion as it looked at rest while she comforted the large animal.
Its massive red eyes looked up at Dionne, as if trying to heed her words, but no change was taking place in front of her, there was only the giant bear.
After realizing the Dwarf and masked man were missing, Miroslaw traced back to see what ad happened. He would remain a distance away, trying to hide behind a bush, bow in hand.

Redblade remained watching from a distance. He would not go back and ruin whatever plan Dionne had in mind. This was all in her hands now.

"I fought the law and then I was broken out... Is that a bad thing?"
Dionne knew she had a choice. The dagger at the back of her belt, didn't feel all that inviting. She wanted to get the man, transform him back, and then perhaps, they could sort it out somehow with the townsfolk and blame it on the spiders or something. Either way, killing the werebear, was not her plan A.
"I can't help you while you're like this, dear. Do me a favour, and show me your true self." Dionne was however getting impatient. Petting the thing, she knew that sooner or later it'd be rather hard to justify playing around would it not cooperate, as life of a stranger wasn't worth more than her own would she not get some coin soon.
Ama had been watching the scene unfold from a safe distance, both in amazement and disbelief, as her friend Dionne stood her ground against the werebear. The results were so surprising that it had left the young demoness stunned. Dee had actually calmed the beast down!
Ama found herself holding her breath. She didn't want to move for fear of undoing all of the other woman's admirable work.
Quick tip: If something didn't work the first time it's probably not gonna work again under the same circumstances. _______________________________________________
The bear still did nothing as Dionne asked it to return to its mortal form, it was still just a large animal. However, now the creature seemed to sense the uneasiness coming from the huntress and got up off the ground. It's nose stabbed at Dionne's chest who could feel the bear's moist breath against her skin before picking up soft whines that escaped it's large maw.
In the stillness of the moment, with death hanging above everyone's head, the forest had become mute. So it was a sudden break of a twig that broke Redblade out of concentration just a few meters behind him, though nothing appeared to move out from cover as soon as it was heard.
(Anyone near Red can investigate this with him should he choose to do so)
At a distance, looking straight at Dionne and the tempered beast, a pair of scarlet red eyes locked unto the scene with teeth bared and claws unsheathed. Let it not be forgotten that the party tracked two monsters all the way into this cursed corner.
Redblade hears the snap and turns quickly to see if it was one of his companions coming back to get a better view of Dionne and the bear or another threat. After having spider monsters attacking them from above, these woods seemed too dangerous to be hanging around in. He raised his guard up just in case as he looked to see if anybody near him moved to make the sound.

Miroslaw, not being very near to Redblade, was started to be fed up by the display. They were sent here to kill the beast, not play with it, nor tame it. The beast was a nuisance to the village, and calming it down would not stop it from needing to eat. He contemplated sending another arrow at the creature, but he did not want to jeopardize Dionne. He was constrained to remain where he was and continue his lack of action.
He picked up on the increased alertness Redblade and the others had. He must have detected something that Miroslaw had not. This drew his attention to how truly quiet the area was. He didn’t notice it before, but it was odd. He looked around, cautiously analyzing his surroundings. He could not recall if it had been this quiet since spiders attacked or if it was more recent. He figured the sounds of nature would have picked back up, at least somewhat, since the killing of the arachnids and taming of the beast.

Starting to become impatient now, Dionne strechted out. She didn't want to kill the werebear, but neither could she help him.
"I don't want to kill you, so I'm going to let you go. Run fast, and run far, if I have to hunt you down again I'm not going to have this choice." She kept her voice calm, yet demanding. This was the best she could do for him.
(Guys, this is going on 6 days without any activity and the last round took everyone 2 weeks to post. I know it's turned into something of a muddled mess, but am going to ask that everyone either agree to can it, or rally and wrap it up. Thanks.)
