Feeling his fist make contact with the beast, he knew he had stunned his opponent for just that moment that he was looking for. He uses that time to attempt and grab one of its front limbs and keep it around his waist area while he raised his other arm and dropped his elbow as hard as possible on its joint, with the intention to break it off or leave it dangling. Causing the spider more pain was his main goal to keeping it from attacking him, or at least that was his plan.

"I fought the law and then I was broken out... Is that a bad thing?"
Being one on one with the injured beast, it was time for Dionne to throw caution to wind and finish it off. Spinning on her toes, both blades in the air she started to slash her way through and after a few strikes finished off with a low swipe and a back flip onto it. With a heavy sigh she looked around to re-asses the sitation and seeing how many were left. Crouching on top of the creature, creatures blood dripping from her blades, Dionne gave her self a minute rest
"Well, aren't they though."She thought to herself, trying to indentify any weaknesses that the creatures could have. With one charging in an arrow in it's head, clearly it wasn't all that effective, best she could think off, were the legs. If they couldn't move, it'd be easier to take them down.

"Thanks." Ama quickly said to the dwarf, after she'd recovered from being pushed aside. It was turning out to be quite the Save-a-Stranger day. But the demoness had little time to think funnies in her head as she was about to get trampled down by an enraged, bleeding arachnid.
Although she didn't want to be dealing with the business end of the foul beast, it was upon her too soon for her to do anything else (apart from, maybe, run). But that wasn't really Ama's style, and no doubt she'd only bump into another during her retreat.
Nope, she did the only brave - or stupid - thing she could think of; the young woman closed the gap between her and the oversized spider. This may have appeared reckless to any onlookers, and indeed it probably was, but a plan was rapidly materializing in Ama's mind as she neared those sharp, sharp teeth.
As the large creature was almost within swiping distance, the young demoness hastily bent both knees so she was crouching as low as she could get and, also, hoping her somewhat short stature would assist in the avoidance of those fanged pearly whites. Then, pointing her dagger up to the canopy above, her arm now looking like a deadly, vertical spear, Ama swiftly sprang skywards.
Miroslaw was not about to let the favor he gained from the unorthodox block go to waste. With a smile beginning to form at the thrill of the close quarters battle, he immediately pulled his sword the rest of the way from its sheath into a powerful strike down onto the beasts head. A roaring battle-cry came forth as he swung the blade.
He did not notice the one with the arrow in its head, so was still ignorant of the potential that the head was no weak point. From his many battles, the head was always a place to strike for a quick end to a fight.

As Red attempted to grab one of the limbs, the monster reached out with its other hand to scratch the warrior's chest as he was in the middle of his maneuver, still hindered by the spider web. However, even with the injury Redblade still managed to at least complete his goal and break the creature's arm which made it howl and try again to tear into his flesh.
The spider approaching Ama seemed to not have seen her coming as the shock enveloped its face when the daemoness sprung forward and jabbed her blade into its neck. Ama could hear the creature gurgling and feel a warm liquid wash down her hands. Suddenly, the monster shoved her back and attempted to plug the wound with one of its hands while last breaths hissed out of its mouth.
The giant sword came, Miroslaw's strength breaking free from the hold of the web, and off came the growling spider's head. As the head rolled to the ground, however, the body was not quite done with the warrior as a swipe with its black hands came to scratch Miroslaw on the back as he finished his mighty swing, before finally falling to the ground, dead.
Noting that their numbers were quickly dwindling the other two monsters were about to join the fray and gang around Red to finish him off, but the rousing of their earlier catch made them wait.
"Ah, it wakes, quite resilient this one."
The man in the web cocoon struggled, grunting and heaving as he tried to break free. Just as it looked like he accepted his fate, a cry of defiance resounded through the battle.
His eyes became white, teeth sharper, and hair longer; the grunts became growls and cries became roars. The webbing began to tear as muscles bulged and hair began to grow out of every pore of the man's body.
"What is this?!" "Another of the doctor's creatures is among us!"
Suddenly, in a single break the webbing was torn apart and the man quickly grew in size while changing shape. The trackers had found their bear, tall and triumphant.
The spiders assaulted the werebear monster, but their strength was pitiful in comparison. With a single swipe of its massive claw the ursine cleaved the torso off the abdomen as if they were made of parchment. Seeing as it clearly had no chance in a direct assault, the other spider tried to recapture the bear in a new webbing.

"I fought the law and then I was broken out... Is that a bad thing?"
Chest hurting like hell after the spider got in a terrible scratch, Redblade felt a little better after breaking one of its arms/legs. It wasn't enough tho, for he knew that it still had another 5 limbs and it was fully capable of attacking him. Seeing as the spider raised its other hand to get in another strike, Redblade tries to duck and dodge it just in time to try and grab hold of it and climb on it to its back.

"What kind of magic is this?!" Dionne wasn't sure, what the man did, but it impressed her. It wasn't often that she would consider turining away, but that display of force and unknown magic, made her do just that.
However, seeing as the spider was concenrating on him, Dionne jumped off the spider, and charged the rear of the webbing one. Perhaps helping him, could possibly put her in his good books?
She sild the last couple of feet, and with a spinning swipe, she aimed at the creature's rear legs, hoping to hinder it at least.
"You seem like you might need a hand." She said in a low tone.

Miroslaw snarled as the beheaded spider’s last effort to attack him made contact. The corpse’s unexpected reflex caught him by surprise and he was unable to react accordingly. The wound seemed relatively insignificant, but it would be an irritation without proper treatment after this is said and done. He also worried about some form of toxin that could have accompanied the strike. He had little time to worry about it in this moment.
He turned to the nearest spider, being the one assaulting the masked man. It would take a while to finish the fight with naught but bare hands. Being free of the webbing, he charged at the past intending to ram his blade into the beast’s abdomen. He would be wary of Redblade’s position calculating his charge to avoid any potential friendly fire. Following the pierce, he would immediately rip his blade to the right, slicing it through the creature.
Death is no more than turning us over from time to eternity. Whether that eternity is damnation or salvation is determined in the time we have.
Ama wasn't an ounce squeamish as the spider's blood ran through her fingers. Sure, it was disgusting and probably smelled funky, but it wasn't the worst. The young demoness merely wiped the ichor on her pants, above the knee. She was going to need to buy new pants at the next store she came across.
Then she just watched, dumbfounded, as the man-turned-werebear came to life, tearing through the final arachnids. Ama was at least smart enough not to get in the middle of that!
Redblade grabbed hold of his arachnid and managed to hop on the back, making the monster rotate and shake to try shake the warrior off. As it took the masked man for a ride, Miroslaw charged in and stuck his sword in its abdomen before ripping it, causing a flow of organs to spill and the monster to weaken as it collapsed to the ground.
The werebear had covered its eyes as webbing got in them, and roared defiantly as it was becoming encased in the sticky thread. So concentrated was the arachnid in trying to suppress this new threat that it had not accounted for Dionne as the beauty came and slashed its legs, causing it to stumble.
"No!" was all it had time to say before the creature came and stabbed its claw right into the chest before ripping it upward. The bear's strength was massive and easily freed itself from the web prison made in haste.
When Dionne spoke to it, it appeared to not have heard what she said as rage was the only thing that left its growling maw. With another swipe the bear attempted to kill Dionne as well, before an ax flew through the air and struck its mighty claw.
"There's no man in this thing! It's just a beast now, run!" cried Dieter as he prepared a spell to try and halt the beast in its tracks.
This werebear's strength was so incredible that it gave Redblade a cold chill up his spine. Seeing that the spiders couldn't even hold him down at his current form, there would be no way that this group could either. He looked over to Amma and ran towards her.
We better go. There is no time to think about this, or even try and be a hero right now. Just RUN!
He then looks back at the party and yells.
EVERYBODY FALL BACK!

"I fought the law and then I was broken out... Is that a bad thing?"
The attack on the spider was very pleasing to Miroslaw. They cut like any other flesh-made being. As it fell to thr ground, a more pressing matter became known to him. Miroslaw turned to to see the creature that he was entirely too ignorant of before the bone-chilling, defiant roar.
Miroslaw was seldom in favor of fleeing from a fight, and this was no exception. The beast that they came to kill is going to send everyone off running? Miroslaw would not have it! He countered the masked characters words, "Why are we running?! This is the creature we are being paid to kill!" With that, he swapped to his bow and launched a single shot at the werebear's chest. Unfortunately, he was nescient to the reality that it transformed from a human, or he would not be fine with putting the beast down.

Dionne took several steps back. Upon hearing Miroslaw, she realised - this is but a bag of coins.
She retreat further and towards the group, knowing that 1 on 1, she would be swatted away like a fly in a combat situation, but perhaps there was another way
Seeing an arrow go past her, Dionne knew that if it got hurt more, her plan might not work.
"Guys I got a plan. You've got to turst me on this! Put down your weapons and fall back to a safe distance. Don't attack it, unless it does.!" Reluctanly, Dionne shouted back to the group.
Being a good couple of feet away, she took her bow and seath of her back and let it fall to the ground, before loosing her armour.
"Now, now big man. I'm sure we can, work this out?" She gave the softest and sweetest voice she could, and dropped her blades as well. This would either work, or she'd have to get out of there...fast and possibly without dignity.

Just a general reminder that we're still using the old system for this encounter... __________________________________________________
Dieter was still preparing his spell, "Are you mad, lassie?! This monster will tear you in half with one claw!"
The arrow that Miroslaw fired hit square into the creature's chest, making it bellow a blood curdling roar as it snapped the stick off and eyed the warrior. Its paws dug in as it was just about to take a leap, but just then a column of dark energy erupted from the ground and entangled the raging behemoth. Vines of dark energy wrapped all around the werebear, some snapping under the great strength but growing anew for each that broke, making it difficult for the beast to break free.
The Dwarf took this opportunity to run back to the trail they came from, and encouraged everyone around him to follow while his spell distracted the monster.
Regardless of what everyone else had done, Dionne chose to stay and appeal to a more primal side of the beast, to the man inside.
Once Dieter's spell had broken the bear quickly broke free of the dark vines and jumped closer to Dionne, who had discarded her weapons and armor. She could hear the monster's growl rumbling in it's throat, see the glimmer of white canines bared, and the eyes crimson like blood.
And it saw her too, her pale skin contrasting with the black of the cursed forest, like the moon in a clouded sky, her dark hair flowing down her back like a cape, and eyes like cat's eyes. The markings on her skin were as an elegant script finely detailed on her sweet skin. Dionne's gaze was that of a predator in her own right, a prize for either man or beast. Her beauty lifted the blood haze that clouded the monster's senses, and the heart pulsed for something other than rage.
The creature drew long breaths, retracted its claws, and sheathed its fangs before getting down on all fours like a normal bear. The crimson in its eyes became less intense as it slowly approached Dionne, up to the point where she could feel the heat from the creature's breath on her bare chest.
