Ivy loves the woods, so when she stumbled upon a cottage for sale, she decided she just had to have it. It was a perfect size, not too big for there was only one of her, and not too small as she did want something with enough space in it to store extra bows and such.
Ivy took a deep breath, studying the small cottage she decided had to be hers. She could smell the sent of the forest all around her, and she smiled happily. She walked up to it and ran her hand over the rough, worn stone before pulling the door open and stepping inside.
In her cottage, there was a small, worn looking chair in the corner of the room, and an simple wooden table in the center of the room. The room off of the main room was a bedroom, and she walked across the well used floor and looked through the doorway to examine it. Shoved up next to the wall was a rather large pile of hay, and there were about two think blankets on top of it. She smiled, glad for something so simple that reminded her of home. She looked to the wall, there was a small window covered up with some woden boards, which she moved to the side to allow fresh air to enter her new home. Sasitified, she walked back into the main room to sit in the chair, which she was excited to find out was a rocking chair. She lowered herself in it and began to rock.
Ivy snapped awake, having fallen asleep in her chair. She remembered the last few things that have happened lately, and she smiled, thinking of her childhood friend Sera, whom she always felt protective of, although the girl was a year older then Ivy was. She was thrilled Sera was around now, and Ivy knew she would do whatever she could to protect the other girl, just like she used to do. Then her thougts strayed to the adventure she had just recently been on. She didnt like how she hadnt been able to help the forest like she had wanted to, and was thankful Tauer had been there with her. She didnt think she would have been able to fight the elf alone. Her eyes hardened as she planned on going back as soon as she could
Having been bored with nothing to do but think, which she wasnt much of a fan of, Ivy finally got up and left her house to explore the town a bit. A few hours later, she arrived back at her house, Aegil in tow. "Im so glad youre going to visit me! Its been boring here, nothing to do." She turned and gave the woman a friendly smile.

Ivy just smiled as she pushed open the door to her home, and walked inside, dragging poor Aegil after her. "Its not much, but I love it!" she said happily, sounding much like the child she hated to be called. "Come in and make yourself at home"

Aegil stayed close to the door, leaning on her staff and looking out of place. "Hm..." Her shadow clung to her feet, though it would have loved to explore.

Ivy frowned. "Whats wrong? Dont you want to come in?" She had a very hopeful expression

Ivy instantly brightened and walked into her house. She had recently aquired another rocking chair, which was close to hers. "You can sit down, if you want." She offered, pointing

Ivy sat in her own seat and smiled over at Aegil. "I thought you could use a friend." She explained. "Youre always alone and hiding. I wanted you to feel welcome" She started rocking in the chair

Aegils expression deepened into distaste. "I have little need for 'friends'". What she didn't add was her rather depressing reasons for this, including her deep wish to avoid effecting others with Spectres presence. He was her burden to bear. Hers alone.

Ivy gave the woman a sad smile. "Everyone needs a friend. Even if its just someone you know you can go to for a smile and kind word."

Aegil rolled her eyes at the girls naiveness. "I have no use for friends. They only cause problems." She paused then added "You have the world view of a child, but one day you will discover just how cold this world can be. Just how far one can fall. How much one can lose. Or maybe not" she shrugged. "Maybe you will be lucky and stay an ignorant child forever." She almost sounded wistfull, even jelous.
