An exemplary thief could pull it off. I think survival and medicine would be applicable as well. That's a good question though and the resources would be tricky part. Thieves don't have an understanding of herbs but poisons. There's some grey area there. Speak to someone proficient in survival about herbs.

Right; he's 5 in thieving so he might know what goes in the poisons and he's 2 in ingenuity so that might work. =/ A 1 (I think) in survival would help a bit. I'll just work with that and hope he doesn't screw up too bad. ^_^;
To elaborate here - Medicine deals with adverse effects on people's continued desire to live so it's relative. Survival would be the one field to learn about herbals.
But thieving specifically states poisons. That would mean manufacture and remedy as it pertains to the thieves trade. A 5 in thieving would mean you're well versed in such dangerous matters.

How much would Orp be able to do with different levels of Defensive Metal Magick and 60 ft of wire in terms of defending himself? Would he have to carry it as a weapon?
I suppose so and as far as what you did with it, you imagination and some modesty would decide really.

How does the reversion of magick work? It was said before that especially low level magick reverts back to it's original state. How then was the jail constructed?
A couple people in the chat agreed that under "certain circumstances" like physical restraints, the time for reversion would grow very high, up so a couple hundred years at least.
Keep in mind we also mentioned skill level as one of those circumstances; Alec is at level 5 in metal magic, and so is Chaz, his gadgets the reason the conversation arose.
The jail was very much an exception because it wasn't a quest and benefits no one. It was a matter of giving Marg the house she wanted - which she'd also earned. I specifically told Alec I wasn't going to be anal about fatigue when doing it. I would have liked to have had Serenity about for her earth magic but as she wasn't busy getting naked with other women, she wasn't around at the time.

I'm talking about how we said that magic tends to return to its initial state, not fatigue. Specifically we told Jericho that he couldn't have greaves or something that were magically made into a permanent shape.
