I'm hungry too. Let's head back to shore and we'll get something to eat. Can you magic us there? She winked at that, running a thumb down one side of her face gently.
"Alright," she said before kissing her lightly on the lips again. The blush on her face was still there as she got up to turn the boat around.
The mage walked up to the bow of the ship and stood very still to feel the currents of the wind. Taking in a calm, deep breath, she exhaled slowly and extended her arms, slowly rotating to her left side.
The winds came and slowly pushed the boat around, pressing against one side of the sails. When it was aimed at shore, Serenity concentrated again and made a current push them home to shore.
The lady took the hand as she got off the boat, and nodded to the harborman when she did.
"Dinner would be lovely right now, thank you again for having me."
The quick beating of her heart had calmed down some, but for a moment she almost couldn't stop herself from taking Margrett to bed again. The feeling was like a stranger, one she hadn't felt for many years. The anxiety was exhilarating, however she thought it best to remain in better control of herself as she done in the past. Still, with Margrett it seemed she'd never know how her reaction might be.
The playful distance was a little encouraging to Margrett, even as she took Serenity's hand and let her back home. She wasn't sure about what had just happened. She smiled despite it and offered Serenity her arm as they went, part of her scared and part of her excited.
