((Sorry guys, been really busy lately. Taking back over now.))
After collecting as many arrows as she could find, Rue placed them back in her quiver and walked to where Venom was standing, still gripping her knife.
"I appreciate your concern, but I can take care of myself," she said defiantly. She pointed her dagger at him, her eyes narrowed. "And I'm not completely incompetent without my arrows, I can use this in close-ranged combat. So don't worry about me." Her eyes traveled to the rips on his shirt over his chest. "Focus on keeping yourself alive." She spun the dagger in her hand before sheathing it in her belt. She was perfectly capable of fighting or getting back to town on her own, she did not need Venom giving her or Jonah instructions on how to stay safe.
She turned to Jonah to ask what he thought they should do about the new wave of goblins waiting in the forest when she heard the scream. Turning to see the terrified goblin running from the scene, she scanned the treeline to see if there were braver goblins preparing to invade the clearing.
((Sorry I wasn't clear, Venom. You three were the three warriors he (the goblin) saw. That's how he viewed you. Oh! And welcome back, Rue!))
The party did not see any more goblins and it could be assumed that they had all fled. The shaman and any remaining goblins had escaped further into the forest... but that was all the three hunters knew.

Curiosity took a hold of the tribesman.
I think we should follow it. He said as he started to pursue the screaming goblin. Jonah wanted to know if the goblin threat was leaving for good or if something else was going to happen.
Venom smiled upon seeing how brave Rue was and a very formidable fighter at that, even without her arrows. He responded to her with sincerity in his voice.
Point taken, forgive me Rue. I just can't live with the thought of something happening to you.... or Jonah, of coarse.
Venom nodded to Jonah and chased after the goblin. Hopefully they would not fall into a trap, he kept thinking over his head.
The goblin continued to scramble and run--looking back often to see if he was being pursued. He was loud and careless. Several times the poor creature tripped and fell to the ground. However, he always got back up and kept moving.
((Are you guys chasing or secretly trailing the goblin?))
The goblin continued to run. His short legs traveled slowly over the, at times, rough terrain. The poor goblin was easy to follow. He even got turned around once or twice and had to change directions--giving the the hunters a chance to catch up.
Eventually the goblin rounded a ledge and suddenly disappeared. When the hunters came around to see the other side of the ledge, they saw that a cave entrance (about four feet high) was hidden behind it. The goblin was nowhere in sight.
It didn't take long before Venom arrived behind Jonah. For a second there he thought they had lost the goblin and looked left and right after passing the ledge but then he noticed the cave. He looked at Jonah and then back towards where they had came from running trying to see how far Rue was behind them. It would be better for them to stick together at this point and not get seperated.
When Rue saw Jonah and Venom standing next to the cave, she slowed, assuming the goblin was now inside the cave. There was no point in running if they had no one to chase. When she arrived next to them, she crouched down and peered into the cave but could not make out much in the darkness. She looked up at her companions.
"Fancy a trip into the cave? We've got to see where he thinks he's headed."
Without waiting for an answer, she stood up and grabbed several fallen branches and twigs from the ground a few feet from the cave entrance. She began to fashion a makeshift torch using her Survival knowledge from when she lived alone in the woods. Once she was semi-satisfied with her shoddy workmanship, she began to try to spark a fire to light it.
"No point following him into the darkness though," she said as she worked.
Venom was impressed with Rue's survivor skills and just smiled at her. She was pretty handy since the whole goblin incident began. He was happy to have her along for it.
Nice torch.
He extends his hand out towards it.
May I? You may be needing both of your hands for your bow if things get ugly.
