Venom looked at the goblin with a confused look upon his face, until he remembered what had happened to the one-armed, one-eyed goblin just after he had killed him. By the looks of the bleeding shaman, who not been attacked by any of them yet, he figured he was about to blow up into blood-spears aimed at him. Venom turned around as fast as he could and began to run as far away as possible from the shaman, even past some of the other goblins who were attacking Jonah. He did not know where Rue was hidding within the woods, but he yelled out to her as he ran.
Rue had been focused on Jonah and the group of goblins pursuiting him so she didn't see what was happening between Venom and the other two goblins. At Jonah's request, she shot several more arrows into their midst, bringing three of them to the ground. She hoped Jonah could fend off the other two because it seemed Venom needed her help now. She hoped the goblins wouldn't be able to discover her location as she prepared to send an arrow flying towards the Shaman. However, as she reached back to extract an arrow from her quiver, her fingers groped empty air. She had used all of her arrows already... how did that happen?
Anyway, muttering curse words under her breath, Rue slung her bow around her shoulder and jumped down from the tree, landing swiftly on her feet. She began to run towards the Shaman, drawing her dagger as she did so.
The goblin shaman chuckled, then cackled, then coughed up blood. Suddenly spotting Rue coming toward him, the shaman dashed and stumbled for the horn that had once been in the one-eyed goblin's arm. He snatched up the dropped horn and brought it to his lips to blow...
BRUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The horn sounded loud and clear before Rue was able to reach him.
Venom stopped on his tracks, stunned at the sound of the horn. How could he have been so careless? Now they were really in for it. Venom may have just caused all of them their lives, and he felt broken. What mattered now was to hurry and get them out of there before more goblins arrived. He took a deep breath and ignored the pain from his chest as he continued to bleed. He began to fight off the goblins as he yelled out to the others.
Jonah! Get Rue and get out of here! I'll hold them back! Run back to town and get help from the guards! Don't worry about me!! GO NOW BEFORE MORE COME!!!

Jonah took down the remaining two goblins chasing him with relative ease then thanked Rue for the help with a nod of the head and a smile. At least that was-
The tribesman jumped with fright at the blast of the horn being blown so close to where he stood. For a second he was paralyzed with sudden panic and dread- feeling, as Venom apparently did, that more goblins would be on their way.
The red-headed guard had shouted orders but Jonah was left indecisive; leaving Venom to handle the goblins didn't sit well with the tribesman, this was no time for heroics or self-sacrifice, and he wasn't too sure if they could make it back to town in time, but...
He turned to Rue, giving her a look that said the final decision was down to her.
Very few goblins remained of those who had been there. If this was all of them the party would have be able to defeat them. However, now that the horn had been blown it was difficult for them to tell what the goblins numbers would look like.
With now only a few goblins left, Venom found time to take out a health potion and try and cure the cuts on his chest. Tossing the empty bottle to the side, he looked on to the remaining goblins.
If we do that Jonah, they will surely find Wistvale and the villagers will fall victim to these goblins. I cannot allow that to happen. Please take Rue already, before more come.
Venom charged the remaining goblins before he was able to hear Jonah's response.

Jonah thought Venom was being a tad overdramatic; the goblins only wanted the forest so surely Wistvale would be safe from attack...right? But the red-headed guard had already gone after the remaining grunts before he could respond. The tribesman took a deep breath and sighed.
Well i'm not leaving him alone. He muttered to himself. Was Jonah being stubborn? He wasn't quite sure but he had made his mind up and, in doing so, charged after Venom to lend him support.
((I guess that's as good an option as any... Rue, feel free to take over as soon as you get back. Venom: Health potion use noted.))
Jonah and Venom made sure that every one of the original goblins was dead--minus one...
Rue had been caught in a moment of indecision. She was originally charging toward the shaman--but then Venom was running away. The shaman was about to blow the horn--but Venom was wounded... The horn blew and Venom yelled for her and Jonah to run back to town.
It was then that Rue realized the shaman was running away. He was wobbly and weak but it looked like he'd survive if he escaped. She started to run towards him once more but stopped when she saw a couple goblins off in the forest--then 5. She turned back and ran to the two men. She didn't wait to count how many were actually there. She assumed it was another group just as large. "There's more over there. What do you guys want to do? The shaman just got away."

Seeing as neither one of them were going to leave, Venom had to accept that they would fight with him till everyone one of the goblins were out of their woods. He made his way over to Rue and looked towards the direction she had mentioned to them that they were coming from.
I'm not leaving until every goblin is dead and these woods are safe.
Noticing her pouch being empty, Venom pointed towards it.
Will you be safe now that the fight will be at close range?

Beads of sweat trickled from Jonah's brow, leaving trails down his mud-plastered face. The battle had been won but the war clearly was not over, much to the tribesman's despair. He didn't want to hurt these goblins, he had no desire to kill anyone or anything, but his attempts to scare the small army had failed and - despite the goblin losses - it looked like more "soldiers" were on their way.
Jonah sighed. Why must things always turn out this way? It just made no sense to the Akaiyan wanderer.
And so it must be; more goblins would die this day unless the little buggers came to their senses and called it a day, especially with Venom here. Jonah could not tell whether the red-headed protector of Wistvale was just an over zealous guard or someone with a serious blood lust. He preferred it to be the former.
Rue collected her arrows, but as the party waited, nothing happened. The goblins didn't come into the clearing, nor could any of them see or hear the goblins.
Then they heard a scream behind them. A single goblin stood petrified from fear and dread of what he saw. Three warriors stood over his slain brethren. Rather than attack, the goblin ran off yelling in terror as he went.
Venom had turned around quickly to see who it was that had screamed when he noticed the scared goblin run off. His eyes then studied the three the stood over one of the dead goblins. These did not seem like the warriors they had fought earlier. He remained silent, head turning to the trees to see if there were any other goblins preparing for an attack.
