Having cut off the arm from the eye-patched goblin, Venom felt more at ease until he saw the shaman reaching up for his horn. Knowing well that his first victim had a very low chance on trying to reach for his horn again, now that he weilded his weapon with his only hand, Venom jumped forward at the shaman, blade swinging at the shaman's horn to either break it or knock it a few feet away.

Jonah took a step back just in time to parry the spear from it's intended mark - his chest - and, while that goblin stumbled to the side off balance, the tribesman forced a sandal flat into the sword-wielder's stomach so the sword in question would fall short of Jonah's skull.
Why won't you people surrender already!
Noticing the spear thrower, the tribesman rapidly retreated, throwing himself behind a tree where he shouted out for help.
Seeing that Jonah needed help, Rue turned on her branch towards the group of goblins bearing down on him. She aimed her bow at the javelin-wielding goblin and shot an arrow at him, hoping to kill him before the javelin could leave his hands. She launched another volley of arrows into the group of goblins, trying to take down as many as she could to help Jonah.
((Sorry I didn't reply... I kept coming back to it all throughout the day and I just couldn't decide what had happened. :/ Venom, I need help with these pronouns "Venom jumped forward at the shaman, blade pointing down at his chest while he was still on the ground." Who is the blade pointing at and who is on the floor?))
((LOL! So sorry. I imagined the shaman falling backwards when you said he stumbled back. My blade was pointing down on him. Let me edit that. Aaaaaaaaaaand... ACTION!!!))
Shaman jumped back to avoid Venom's blade and in the process avoided Rue's arrow. However, his luck couldn't last forever. Venom wasn't aiming for his body but for his horn-which he successfully cleaved in two.
Jonah was safe for now. One of the goblins yelled that the trees were throwing sharp sticks, but another retorted that sticks and stone can't break bones so they continued their assault. The goblin who dropped his weapon picked it back up and ran past the tree Jonah was hiding behind. Others were following behind him.
Thankfully, when Rue turned to help Jonah, her targets moved in a much more predictable manner. She successfully felled the javelin-throwing goblin with an arrow through his throat. She also killed one more goblin (in the back with a short sword) and wounded one wielding a club (hit his non-dominant arm).
((You guys can roleplay your fights with the goblin "army" but the leaders need their actions confirmed.))
Venom quickly turned his head to see his surrounding. When he saw Jonah running and crying for help, he turned his body around ready to go help him, but he still had the now one-arm, eye-patched goblin in front of him. Plus shamans are not to be under estimated. Seeing that Rue was giving him support, Venom knew he was on his own now and could only hope that Jonah could hold off a little longer. Having been on a defensive stance, his eyes came back to the shaman and his body guard. Maybe if the shaman is killed, the others will surrender, he thought. So Venom went after the shaman once again, swinging at his chest this time.
The one-armed, one-eyed goblin moved faster than Venom had expected. He reached out with a wide slash that would bite into Venom's side if he didn't react in some way. If Venom followed through with his swing at the shaman, he would most likely not be able to dodge the one-armed blow. He had to decide whether to deflect and parry or kill and be wounded.
There could be other outcomes and responses but Venom did not have long to think about them.
Seeing how the one-armed goblin was focused in killing him, Venom decide on defending himself. His sword swung around to try and parry the sword away from him and then kick the goblin square in the chest to knock him back if he could. Depending on the outcome, Venom would then try to look back at the shaman to see what he was up to.
The one-armed goblin rolled backwards with the kick and got back up to his feet. However, he was losing blood far too quickly to keep this up much longer. He rushed at Venom with his blade straight in front of him.
The shaman had scurried just out of reach and was muttering something to himself. At least, this is what Venom could see and hear.
Venom was very concerned about the shaman now and knew he had to finish off the one-armed goblin with this attack. Seeing that the goblin was now desperate to finish him off, he used it to his advantage. Venom stayed still as he was being charged. It would all be in the timing if he were to do this right. Once in range, Venom would move to his left and duck to one knee to have his attacker's blade swing right above him, while he had his own held to his right horizontally aiming at the goblin's mid-section with both arms.
Venom's strategy worked just as planned. He dropped just to the side and braced as the goblin charged into the tip and down its edge at the last second. The goblin stood in shock and horror as he realized what had happened in the last few seconds of his life.
However, just before he crumpled to the ground, Venom saw something that may have frightened him a bit. The goblin's blood began to run up Venom's blade then suddenly shot out and pierced him as if it was glass. The wound was fairly small but the blood-ice spears had pierced deep before liquefying again. There were at least five thin wounds like this in Venom's chest.

As several goblins dashed past Jonah, oblivious to his location, the tribesman decided to take full advantage of the situation. As the fifth grunt ran by, waving his weapon wildly, Jonah stuck out his foot for number six. The goblin tripped over the tribesman's foot and landed with an "Umph!", face-first, in the dirt - the rusty dirk his was carrying flew from his grubby little hands. Goblins one to five were still unaware of the goings on behind them but the seventh, having witnessed his comrade stumble over something, stopped to help pick him up, laughing as he did so. "Where you learn to run, stupid?"
But he wasn't laughing for long as Jonah's darkwood sword collided with the goblin's nose with an audible crack, sending number seven flying back into an unconscious heap on the ground. Unforunately for the tribesman, number six had got his face out of the dirt and let out a loud cry for help, warning one through five in an instant.
Uh oh.
Jonah gave the sixth goblin an almighty kick to the ribs, then turned and ran back the way he'd come, back towards Venom and Rue.
Could use another downpour of pointy sticks!

When the blood-spears shot at him from his sword, Venom jumped backwards to the ground in fear, dropping his blade in front of him. Laying on his back, he checked his wounds on his chest, grinding his teeth from the pain of being speared that close. He was confused at how something like that could have happened and wondered if it was only that one goblin that had that "power". His head turned to look towards where Jonah was and watched the goblins Jonah fought, hoping to witness their death but noticed nothing odd like the one he had just killed. His eyes turn back at the shaman now. It may have been his magic that made that possible. With one arm on his chest, Venom gets back up and picks up his sword with his other one and points it at the shaman.
((Rue and Jonah, y'all can keep playing out the fight if you want. Confirm your own actions--it'll be fine.)) The goblin was shaking weakly at the knees--but not from fear. He coughed up blood and his eye were horribly bloodshot. "Yao-u ganna dahee!heheheACK!" :cough: :cough: :COUGH: ... :SNert: The goblin spit blood. The magic had obviously taken a lot out of him, yet, he seemed sure that he would slay Venom. He began to chant again as he raised an unsteady arm.
