Tommy ran into the tavern. "Hey! I need help! Someone help!" He yelled. The people in the tavern got quiet. Most with a worrisome expression on their face. "I lost my ball!" Everyone sighed and rolled their eyes. One shouted: "Go get your mommy to help you! Then laughed." Tommy now had an irritated look on his face. "I'm serious!" He exclaimed. "It fell into a hole in the ground! I think it's a cave!" Most were just ignoring him by now. "I tried to go get it but I heard scary noises! Will anyone help me get it?"

Daenien glanced up from his still mostly-full glass, noticing the small child running in. He listened to the shouts of the kid, and the responses of the tavern regulars. "How'd that kid even get in here," he murmured. "Ugh, this could go on for hours..." He stood quickly. "C'mon, kid, let's go get your bloody ball back," he sighed. "Can't be that hard..."
"Thanks!" Tommy exclaimed. Happy someone would help him. "Are you sure you don't wan't one more person to come with us? You know, to keep us safe?" Tommy asked without thinking how insulting this sounded.
A cool blast of wind filled the tavern, most of the patrons inside except the boy and Daenien, were knocked off their seats, had their hats and hair in a mess, or just clattered their teeth and had the chill. Serenity stepped forth from behind Daenien,
"Of course I'll help you," she said with a smile on her face.
Ignoring Daenien she stepped forward and grabbed the boy's hand, "Now show me your ball is."

Daenien sighed slightly. "Just a kid..." he murmured. "Not like he meant to insult you..." He suddenly realized he was thinking out loud. "Sorry," he said quickly, bowing to Serenity. "Bad habit."
Serenity turned to look at Daenien, not sure what to think of him as her woman's intuition was telling her that he could be a tad sketchy. Still she returned the courtesy and nodded her head slightly,
The tavern door swung open, the change of light messed with Zaedus' vision. He noticed the boy, the female and the other Fellow. He guessed they were off somewhere. The worgen looked at the boy.
A child in the Tavern? Odd place for you do be young man.

Daenien nodded politely, smiling. "Of course, madame," he said simply. "Why not? The only other thing I've got to do is drink, and that gets boring quickly. Besides, he's a bit young to be in a tavern so best to get him out of here as quick as possible, no?"
Tommy for a minute was stunned by the wind, but then looked up at Serenity. "It's in a cave in the field by that old house. You know, The blue one." He explained.
Serenity looked back down at the lad, "I'm actually still new in town myself, you're going to have to show me. What is your name?"
The lady mage was now more than a bit concerned, not only with Daenien but her wolf phobia had kicked in at a bad time. Though the Worgen wasn't exactly a werewolf, their similarities were uncanny. She tried to remain as calm as she could.

Daenien glanced over at the Worgen. He'd seen quite a few strange things in his travels, so the creature didn't particularly frighten him, but all the same it was best to be wary in all situations. He sighed slightly, waiting for the kid to lead them to where he lost his ball.
"I'm Tommy!" Tommy, holding Serenity's hand, began to lead them to the cave. " Come on, I'll show y'all. It was really scary! I heard weird noises." He explained. "Like there were people in the cave moving around or something. And I heard a hammering sound. It was really scary!"
They approached a field, next to an old, worn down house. Tommy walked into the field, to a small hole in the ground, just big enough for someone to get through. "It's in there. I went in but I didn't see it so I came back out. It was scary. But I didn't go in very far. I think it is pretty big down there." Tommy got on his knees and peered down into the hole.

Daenien blinked. Maybe this'd take longer than he'd thought... "Right then..." he said, crouching near the hole and staring in quietly. "This might be interesting after all," he murmured, grinning faintly. "Too bad I forgot my poisons..."
