"Poisons!?" Tommy exclaimed. " Those are dangerous you shouldn't mess with those. If you drink one it could kill you!" Tommy looked at the worgen. "I think the wolf should go first! He can protect the rest of us."
Serenity was quite...quiet during the walk over, thanks to the Worgen. She had already dealt with much of her fear due to recent events but it still wasn't quite gone. After hearing the Worgen speak, she replied, with a slight timid tone in her voice.
"Yes, please, by all means sir I don't have any objections. I'll protect the boy from back here."
The cave was indeed peculiar, what was in it that could make all those sounds,
"What were you doing way out here with a ball?" she asked Tommy with a raised eyebrow.

Daenien shrugged. "I make poisons. I'm not gonna drink one, trust me. I've seen what happens to other people when they drink them. First, they start gagging, then, they fall over..."
Zaedus did not wait for the boy's response to the woman's question. he jumped in landing effortlessly at the bottom, he blinked a few times and let his eyesight adjust to the low light. He could hear water trickling nearby. The subsonic calls of bats rang softly in his ears. All was quiet for now....
It is clear, it is a decent drop so prepare yourselves.
He said, the sound of his voice echoing had drowned out the near by shuffling.
"Hey I don't need protecting! I am the strongest out of all the boys I know!" Tommy said, irritated that a girl would say she should protect him. He followed them into the cave. He answered serenity's question: " I was wandering through town playing with my ball, and then I saw a nasty old stray dog. I started chasing it, but it was faster than I thought. I ran to this field and I tried to throw my ball at it to hit it, but I missed and the ball rolled into this cave."

Daenien rolled his eyes slightly, following the kid and the Worgen in. He grunted upon contact with the ground, glanced around quietly, then sighed. "Definitely deep." He stood slowly. "Now, which way did it bounce...?" he murmured again, not really expecting an answer. Bloody kids, throwing their balls at stray dogs and losing them down holes. Last time he'd commit himself without thinking about what could go wrong, he was certain of that...
Walking over to the hole, she began to focus, her earth magic enlarged the hole a little bit. Then she summoned a pillar of earth from beneath the hole to rise up on which she stepped on. Focusing again, the pillar dropped slowly until she was right next to the Worgen.

"I don't know which way it went. When I got down here I looked but didn't see it. I didn't have very long to look though before the I heard noises." Tommy quietly stepped to the back of the group. He acted brave but was actually a little afraid, even with the wolf protecting him.

Daenien sighed. "Great." And he'd been thinking out loud again, too. He really needed to stop doing that; it might ruin a carefully planned break-in one day. "So, which way do we go?" he finally asked, scowling slightly. His eyes flicked between every available option, trying to take them all in before they went any deeper. He wasn't exactly scared, but he was a bit irritated, for certain.
Zaedus took a few paces forward, the cavern became quiet all of a sudden, the sound of the water ceased, and the bats stopped communicating....He paused.
Silence......something is wrong..
The sound of flapping became increasingly louder as a swarm of bats flew by, screeching in protest at the uninvited guests, but the way they frantically and hastily flew something else was going on. A few moments later the ground began to rumble softly, dull thud's could be heard echoing off the cavern walls.
"Stupid bats!" Tommy closed his eyes and tried to wave the bats out of his face. "See I told yall there was something down here! Now where is my ball?" Suddenly, Tommy felt a rumbling under his feet and heard noises "Ahh!" Tommy sprinted forward in fear into the one of the long tunnels of the cave.
Serenity threw her arm out to catch Tommy but he had escaped her, she didn't attempt to call after him for fear of alerting whatever was causing the ground to shake like that.
Not saying a word she chased after the boy down the tunnel, praying he doesn't get found by something else.
Tommy slammed right into what seemed to be a solid rock wall, however when his vision corrected, he noticed the "wall" had bent over! Standing over him was an earth elemental, it's eyeless face seemed to be staring him in the eye.
A voice seemed to ring out in the cavern room, though the cavern was quiet. The telepathic nature of the creature was speaking to everyone collectively.
Hmmmmmmm....whaaats.....thisss? (say it really slow like) Aaaa.....yoouuunnggg.......boy?......heeeere?
The elemental stood straight, seeing the rest of his comapnions. A feeling of shock took over everyone. The elemental's feelings were also being transmitted by the telepathic link it had made.
Serenity stopped in her tracts, overtaken by the sudden connection made with the earth elemental. It would be her first time seeing one in person, the elementals only being read about in texts she had to cover for her lectures.
The sensation was sudden, and at first seemed a bit much, but with her power in mind she seemed to connect with it. She had always personified her power in order to focus easier, and for the first time with seeing this elemental, it seemed she was seeing her guardian for the first time. In a certain way at least.
"Tommy, please come back to me."
Slowly looking up at the elemental, she bowed slightly and tried to be courteous, she didn't want to be rude to the being that passed down the teaching of earth magic.
"I am Serenity, dear spirit of Gaia, and come from the school of earth calling as it has been passed down for generations by the gift and grace of your kind."
Tommy slammed right into the giant earth elemental, knocking him down. He franticly scrambled to his feet once noticing what he ran into. Speechless, he began to slowly walk back then turned around and ran to Serenity, kicking up a decent sized cloud of dust in the process.
