JJ sat upon the hill overlooking the village pissed. She had walked into the town's center intending to listen to some gossip, maybe find a quest, or maybe help someone loose their family fortune. It was then that she realized her own little fortune was missing. She looked for it everywhere, but could not find it. Which meant this town had just made a new enemy.
JJ didn't move as the sun beat down on her back, coating her caramel skin with sweat. She continued staring down at the village getting angrier until her vision blurred and she saw the town in a red haze. The sun was dipping between the hills and her sweat soaked skin was starting to chill in the creeping cold night. Still she stayed as still as a statue as internally her rage boiled. Lights dimmed in the houses she stared at. Only one thought resounded in her mind: Someone down there stole from ME!
As if an arrow had pierced an apple inches from her JJ jumped up and started slowly down the hill. She passed by a half empty tankard of ale and snatched it up along with some others that were laying about. She looked nothing more than a barmaid cleaning up after her patrons, except she didn't enter a bar once she had picked up all the alcohol she could. Instead she went to the homes of the villages and she poured a fine line of alcohol everywhere she went. She made sure they ran to the wood or the trees of the homes before she ran a trail to the entrance of their little village.
JJ found a lantern and walked back to her puddle of alcohol. She stared at that horrible, deceitful town and dropped the lantern. It shattered and the flames licked at the flames like a kid licking a dripping ice cream cone. She watched the pretty fingers of fire dart to each home and the trees and catch fire. She slowly walked back to a tree she had been standing at earlier in the day before anyone thought they saw someone start the fire. Her foot kicked something that jingled and she looked down instantly recognizing her coin purse.
"Opps."
