Ok guys, it's cool that you're excited and playing with the talent system and all BUT there will be a new character sheet template when all is said and done. Don't get ahead of yourself and remember that nothing is locked in as yet.
If you'd like to help things along, feedback on the work done is always appreciated.
An FYI: you may notice the magic spell lists up in the Game Info. I am still completing Dark Magic, which should be done tonight. Feel free to have a look and leave me any feedback here.
They look good to me. Tho I would assume that some issues may show once we start using the new system. I would just like to say to our players that even after things get implemented they may still be subject to some change if issues arise. Consider it like a Beta Test...
I have been thinking. In the past Menageries we used to have the training areas being a little more than they are now. To me it would be exciting going into the arena and fighting some beast or even a NPC gladiator for GMs to bring the Arena to life. For those players that are more into just action and less story based threads. Money being moved to either be won or loss for fighters and those that like to place bets. Once we get a solid system to work, even PVP would be great.
Wistvale would not condone fighting 'beasts' for the crowds pleasure. I can say that because the town has been grown in game, by the characters.
As far as betting, there's no chance involved as we don't use stats and dice rolls. There's no uncertainty, or risk, so actually gambling would be rather silly.
I have no intention of building a stat based, die based system to use in game, as this game was built around not wanting one and not having one.
All of that aside, it's not an arena. It's the Sentinels training grounds, which they allow the public to utilize. Anyone wanting to just whoop on someone can do that in another thread, their home thread, or that one. GMs have enough on their hands, without running random combat, no?
Keep thinking though, the feedback is appreciated.
For those that may have missed it. Gray has updated the lore in regards to the Factions with a bit more detail and some updates reguarding recent events.
He has also written bios about most, if not all of the locations listed on the map.
Characters with high knowledge skills, especially Culture, may want to look over them.
Also anyone wanting to take advantage of the FREE GOLD would do well to review said info before writing to make sure things fit in line with established lore.
