Ok, so I am officially a retro gamer. I play a bunch of old arcade titles on Mame, have been dling any openbor beat em up for my side scrolling fix (found some real gems) and just hunted down champions of norrath and return to arms on the ps2 and ordered them plus a second memory card. I have no doubt I will play one through and then jump into 2 for months on end.
I really liked the champions of Norrath games. I wish they would put out more games like that. Most of the top down co-ops dont have the versatility in character that they did.
I've been purchasing more smaller games, rather than big titles like Injustice or Bioshock. The latest game I've tackled is Poker Night at the Inventory 2.
At its core, a simple Texas Hold'em game, but you play with Brock Samson (Venture Bros.) Claptrap (Borderlands), Ash Williams (Evil Dead), Sam (Sam and Max), and GLaDOS (Portal) as the dealer.
And finally getting back into gaming after a long hiatus of combine vacation and yardwork. Continuing Tomb Raider. Can not say enough good things about this game.
I have my hands on the CON games now and it's good to be back! These games are fantastically paced and don't look half bad, given their age. A shame Snowblind closed up shop so long ago.

The most recent purchase i've made was Injustice for the Xbox 360. Fairly good, but to me, fighting games get old pretty quickly. Gotta love how Solomon Grundy's combo goes through lines of the poem. :3
So Its been awhile since I updated on the video games I've been playing.
Played through The Last of Us. AMAZING game!! Great story! I have not had a game effect me so story wise since Red Dead Redemtion. Both games I could just sit and watch the cut scenes like a movie if they spliced them together.
Playing Assassins Creed 4 now on the PS4. Its been fun. Typical AC game, but there are some things i miss from earlier versions. I hope they dont run this franchise into the ground.
Playing Diablo with my kids on PS3 from time to time. I wish there were more co-op games like this that were good. I miss Champions of Norrath and Baldurs Gate...
Played Watchdogs and it was fun. Didnt do much of the driving missions and wished there was more combat/infiltration style missions instead, but good over all.
Picking up Diablo 3 for PS4 when it comes out Tuesday...
And I've been playing DC Universe Online for the first time since I'm currently between video games. Enjoying it alot even at the free level but looking to go Premium soon since its only $5 once and done cost.
If anyone plays and want to find me ingame, shoot me a PM to the Neko account. Im on the Playstation version...
I finally finished Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening. It ended rather abruptly though, I thought, but it was fun. I played through Bioshock: Infinite, too. Fascinating storyline, if somewhat a little strange and confusing at times. The music creeped me out quite a bit and there was one time I jumped out of my skin with fright. The last game I started was Tomb Raider. I've never played a survival game before so this was a new experience for me. So far it's been good...and a little disturbing. Haha.
