Ivys jaw dropped at the sight of Sera slicing through her hand, and fell even further when she saw Sera using magic with it. She noticed what was going on when she saw her friends eyes. Eyes still wide in disbelif, she almost laughed when the man called her girlie. At least he didnt call her a child. She sighed and nocked yet another arrow, glad Sera was able to defend herself. She aimed for one that was near the man, then one behind the one Sera attacked as she reached her friends side.
::The sent of blood sent the zombie into a frenzy as it closed on Sera, only to be dropped by both blood darts and an arrow to the head.
A gust of wind blew across the graveyard and pushed against the biting zombie on Hex and its arm snapped off as it was thrown clear of him. The wind and the movement caused Ivy;s second arrow to miss its mark.
The now one armed zombie rose and this time came for Sera, drawn by the scent of blood, as its severed hand still clung to Hex's arm and tried to inch its way up to his throat::
Silent as a shadow on padded feet...

"OH MY LORD IT'S STILL ON ME!!!! GET IT OFFFFFFFF!!!!! BURN IT! MILL IT INTO GELATIN!!!! JUST GET IT OFFFFFFFF!!!!!"
Hex ran around in circles around the women as he tried to get the hand off of him yet continuously failed. He was freaking out. The dead were gross! The cold chill of the bones upon his skin sent chills down his spine. He stood still in front of the two girls and kept running in place, trying to fan himself from the stress.
"Please!!! GET IT OFF ME!!! HELP ME I'M DYING!!!! I'M TOO CUTE TO DIE!!!!"
Serafyna [M:30:350:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?board=cs&action=display&thread=854]Im so sorry!
Serafyna spun on the other zombie with a low growl. Another flick with the same style as before. Sure it wasn't creative, but it was effective. And it took less blood then her favorite style. Then she spun on Hex and tried not to laugh. The blood flicked out, but this time as a whip as she tried to flick the arm off. After it snapped she pulled it back, returning the blood into her palm.
Ivy laughed as she saw the man dancing around with the arm on him, and that turned to silence as she watched her friend go to aid him. She shook her head at the oddness of it, and turned to keep more of the dead people off them. She knocked her bow and aimed for the closest to them.
::The blood darts once again found their mark on the head of the one armed zombie as it fell to the ground.
As Ivy calmed Hex and reached for the severed hand, tendrils of blood wrapped about it and pulled it free. With the host body now dead, the limb was once again lifeless.
With the combat over, the mages were begining to feel the effects of their magic use.
The broken door to the tomb stood open, the darkness within to complete for any of them to see what may lie within from this distance...::

Serafyna [M:30:350:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?board=cs&action=display&thread=854]Im so sorry!
Wobbling a bit, Serafyna focused and clotting the blood a bit. Wishing she hadnt forgotten her medkit at home, she tore a strip of cloth from her sleeve and wrapped it around her hand tightly, focusing on calming her breathing and controlling herself.

Having been relieved of the hand of doom and destruction, Hex felt a sigh of relief wash over him and a wave of serenity.
"Thanks. I really appreciate it!"
However, not long after thanking the woman, he could feel the use of his magic catching up to him. He didn't cast high level spells, but he felt like he just ran a lap in his mind. He sat down and took a small breather for a moment to catch up with the fatigued it caused. He guessed that the wind spell was stronger than he anticipated.
"Oh great... There's more... Does anyone have have the strangest feeling that they should explore the darkness? Because I do... And I don't want to go alone..."
Ivys eyes were bright with excitment as she looked towards the open...door where the dead people had come from. She shot the man a smile before she started to walk to the entrance. "Dont worry. Im going, you can if you want." She walked with a spring in her step, pausing only to collect the arrows she had used earlier. She didnt want to waste any. Ivy turned to Sera. "Are you coming with me?"
::Ivy had no trouble from the zombies as she retrieved her arrows. As she neared the door to the tomb, she could see the bodies of the long dead near the opening still laid in rest within, undisturbed.::

Serafyna [M:30:350:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?board=cs&action=display&thread=854]Im so sorry!
Serafyna had calmed, and her eyes were clear of any flecks of gold when she looked at Ivy anxiously. "Oh well...um..." her wide nervous eyes flicked to the entrance. She didn't want to go down there, but she knew Ivy would probably drag her with anyways. "A- a- alright m- miss Ivy..."

Hex followed after the girl with the arrows and smiled.
"You know, we're getting ourselves in a heckuvalot of trouble doing this... But, this might be good for life experiences. WH\ho gets to travel into a dark tomb full of dead people and fight them? Certainly not the average human."
He stood up, wiping the dirt off of his shirt and pants and trying not to think about that cold undeady feeling on his skin.
"I don't like the undead... They're gross..."
He shivered a bit and looked into the tomb, and waited for the girls before thinking about going inside, because he doesn't want to be the first one to, well, get hit with via trap or surprise attack. He would try his best to position himself in the middle, in order to reduce the amount of damage he would take, if any.
Ivy smirked as she peered around at the dead bodies on the floor. As gross as it was, Ivy couldnt keep the smile off her face as she thought of the danger and the excitment that lay ahead. Not wanting to take any chances, she took her bow and nocked an arrow, getting it ready for the first sign of danger as she stepped into the dark. "Its fine. And Sera, please dont call me Miss Ivy. Its just Ivy." Then she chuckled and looked over at the man. "Im Ivy, if you didnt catch that. And dont worry, Ill do my best to keep anything from getting you or Sera." She walked further into the darkness
::As they entered the tomb, it took a few moments for their eyes to adjust to the darkness. Once they did, they could tell from the graves within that whereever the bodies came from for the zombies, it was not from here. As they continued to step in, they could see where a stone had been moved from the floor to reveal a gaping hole that led down into darkness...::
Ivy didnt think she could get any more excited about this, but when she saw the hole, she almost let lose the arrow. Quickly, she replaced the arrow and her bow on her back and turned to her companions. "Im going to go down there. If theres anything, Ill try to get it before you get down there." She told the pair before turning and climbing into the hole
