Kiga snuck a look back up only to see still bare flesh and then looked down again, entirely nervous and feeling a right ass. He was still unable to comprehend the situation, unable to think clearly or anything close to rationally. But she couldn't just stand there, naked and all, someone might see. That wouldn't do.
"You just... someone might...."
He didn't have an answer. He had one thought, something protective and modest as confusing as that would seem later; but it was all he had and he acted upon it. He threw his arms about her, her arms and all; and tugged her body against his.
He tried smiling sheepishly.
"Someone might see you Ely...."
Well that worked. Til he realized he had a naked cat girl plastered to him.
Ely [M:164:1653:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=394&page=1#14814]A soul on fire...[0:Snuffed][1:Flame On!]
Ely gave a quick yelp of startlement. She was not prepared for him to just reach out and grab her. In fact, she was not sure if she had been prepared for anything that had occurred tonight. She made a short little struggle for freedom, too.
And some wildly random thought came in from the outskirts of her mind. Who would see her? No one had been here in months, possibly years, and it was dark besides. But, then, Kiga's actions finally made an impact on more than just her brain. The struggle ceased.
Ely glanced up at him.
"But... "
He was so close. What was that about caution? Right. They'll be none of that here. Ely kissed him instead of trying to talk.

Kiga froze the very instant her lips touched his. He simply froze, becoming stiff as a board (not there perverts. Ok, there too), his arms jutting straight our past her sides, him almost leaning back a little as if he was touching something considered a sin.
He froze but his eyes closed and he murmured, the tiniest whisper of a bird warble hushed past his lips. When she stopped, his eyes opened again, confused and unsure of where to look. But he did not move.
"Ely... I... it's just that...
... I mean it's... it's nice but...."
He slouched then, now frustrated at his own inability to interact with her at this moment. This wasn't him, not around anyone but her. Then he gave a determined nod, stiffened his upper lip and spoke clearly.
"Ely. Please do that again."

Ely blinked at him bemusedly. The sound was definitely Kiga, and if she thought about it long enough so was his behavior. And believe you me she certainly was thinking about it being...ahem.
She found the bottom of the Springs with her knees carefully and the rest of her body just slipped into place. She settled on the tops of his thighs while he asked for another kiss.
The kiss was not so quick this time, either. He had given her permission after all. Her fingers came up to brush damp strands of hair away from his face with a gentle push before her mouth landed lightly against his lips.

Kiga slipped back with her to rest upon the rocks, his hands suddenly knowing what to do and holding her tenderly. He watched, completely entranced as that perfectly pretty face looked up to kiss him, the brush of her lips winding his eyes closed. He didn't know how to act about Ely, she was not a contract nor a mark, there was no training even in the arts of seduction that aided him in a moment of affection and passion.
But her kiss found his eager enough and in that moonlit moment, Kiga learned that the perfect kiss requires no thought at all.

Curse the wench. That wonderful wench. He'd asked her not to hold back and she'd not disappointed. His thigh absolutely screamed with pain each time he put his weight on it. She's smacked him across the back of it with the flat of her sword blade and he'd crumpled like a felled tree. He limped along, leaning on his staff, muttering curses, but grinning ear to ear. Pain is for the living, Kiko had said, only the dead feel no pain.
Good words, but the living also need comfort sometimes, and he'd been meaning to wander out to the springs to soothe himself. His mood was improving since coming back to Wistvale and, as he was wont to do as a bard, Dominic started whistling a trilling summery tune as he emerged through the steam.
"Don't mind me." he called out to whomever was bathing. "I can't see you and I don't really mind if you see me." disrobing without a hint of modesty before lowering his wiry frame into the pool of heated water, hissing through his teeth and then sighing in unabashed joy as the warmth sank into him. His midriff still carried puckered stretch marks, wrinkles of fat folds long gone, but not forgotten.

Kiga had quickly clambered to slip in front of Ely to protect her both predatory natures and predatory eyes and whilst he had first stood their with arms wide, he soon relaxed. This man was blind, there was no hiding that fact and Kiga was entirely unconcerned at that moment.
He didn't simply step away from Ely mind you, but instead took her hand and urged her lower in the water to sit with him. He wrapped an arm about her waist then, pressed himself against her side as though she had always been there and looked to Dominic.
"Hey there. We ah... weren't expecting anyone. Or each other."

Dom was not a fool, nor was he really a gentleman. Bawdy sold well, and every dirty song, limerick and tall tale was stuffed into his head to delight drunken crowds. The smile that spread across his face was sly as he leaned back in the water, spreading his arms out across the rocks and enjoying the heat.
"Clearly." he drawled, having heard the tone of their voices, the sudden stop and hitch of breath. The wet noises could have been the water lapping at the side of the pool, but he thought a few of them could have come from a point above the surface perhaps. Anyway, best to assume the lewdest. Things were more fun that way.

Ely was dazed and extremely stirred by the kiss. Which was probably why Dominic's voice did not register for her as quickly as it had for Kiga. She made a tiny mewl of distress too, when he moved to protect her.
Wait. What? Why was Kiga protecting her? Didn't this fellow say he was blind? She was not bothered by any lack of modesty either. She was going to say something about it, too. Tell him that she could bloody well take care of herself. Except... he'd wrapped an arm around her again and she could feel the length of his body pressed against her side.
When she did speak it wasn't to chastise Kiga at all.
"Errm... hi... I'm Ely. He's Kiga... Who are you?"
Ely squinted against the twilight to see if she could recognized the man. Not that she remembered any blind... oh... wait... there had been a bard in the tavern... what was his name?

He had a good memory, and that chipper voice and the fact she'd gotten all tangled up with Kiga very much gave him all he needed to recall the spunky Cathian who'd gotten the birdboy absolutely blind drunk just by being there. He also remembered her response the last time she got his name.
"I'm Dom, or maybe Nic, 'cos Dominc McAllister is too much of a mouthful." he drawled, rolling a hand in a 'there you go' type gesture. He remembered getting laughs out of the crowd with some lyrical poetry.
"I remember Kiga swaggering out of there with you. Like a boss." As before his rumbling smooth timbre made the last word sound more like 'bawss' and he chuckled at the fond memory. It was memories like that which curtailed his wanderlust.

Ely laughed. Her shoulders shook and her head came to rest rather easily against Kiga's shoulder.
"Dom. I remember you. I remember a song with a string of words as if you were talking. Except you played music, too. I've never heard anything like it since."
Her head turned to look at the man beside her when Dominic mentioned Kiga swaggering out of the bar that day.
"He did swagger. It was cute and awesome."
Ely's voice changed on the last word. She drew it out until it had several more syllables than the two required and the tone of it would be familiar to anyone who has ever heard hordes of teenage girls swooning over a favored celebrity.
“Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.”

Dom suddenly snapped his fingers, looking annoyed "Gah, I knew there was something missing." he muttered absently "Drinks. Everywhere there's springs there's people getting drunk in them. Out to the East. Up in the tundric North. The desert bath houses. If it's communal and full of hot water it's basically a pickled person stew." He beamed, shrugging.
"Not that you two need any more intoxication. Now a proper gent would mosey off and leave you two in peace. But I'm just far too happy basking in the reflected glow." That lewd smile returns, his words only half-serious "You really can carry on if you like."
Love, like Hope, has too few letters for a word so powerful.
Kiga looked entirely dumbfounded, was this cad really suggest they continue coitus? They weren't even... hadn't even done that... he cringed a little, but only because the thought appealed to him entirely but made him a little less fit to be quite so naked. And beside her. Oh geez....
His head swam a little more and he splashed water on his face in a desperate attempt to maintain something close to normalcy. It was moderately successful.
"I don't recall much of that night myself. I was... awesome?"
He gave her a puzzled look. He remembered when he met her, but largely due to muddled memories of the most incredible girl he had ever seen. The ears... the eyes... oh lawd. The trying to maintain composure was not going so well.
