Margrett started to take off her boots, looking a little bit more sober.
But seriously, I did want to apologize for storming out when we met the first time. See, me and Gray's friendship consists of constant insults and ideological warfare that would make the worst terrorists blush. Punctuated by a few honest compliments, some blood, and a little bit of alcohol. And if we're being honest, little sexual tension there. As if reminded she had it, she took another quaff from the bottle and set it aside.
That being said, I know most of that's my fault. Bit of a hothead, you see. Short temper, even shorter memory for grudges. Probably something wrong with me. At any rate. She stuck her feet in the water and sighed, then looked to Kiko, smiling.
Sorry.

Grayell listened to Marg and was actually surprised. He didn't say anything, nor did he react; he just remained behind Kiko, content. When Marg did apologize, he smiled - enough of course so that she would notice if she were so inclined... but still he said not a word.
Kiko was rather noncommittal when all was said. But, Grayell was not tense, or irritable, which had occurred when she'd met Margrett before. For his sake she remained polite.
I need no apology, Margrett, but thank you.
If her voice emphasized the first word just a little bit more than the others, well, she doubted anyone but the Wolf would notice.

“Put some clothes on, you weird, yellow-eyed, table-dancing, werewolf-training, cryptic, stare-me-right-in-the-eyes-and-don't-even-blink wench.”
Grayell chuckled softly as his hands slid to Kiko's shoulders now. They started to press and kneed skin, fingers and thumb massaging softly, his hands still wet.
Oh I am the bigger man here.
He smiled though, hands still rubbing gently. They shifted inward, thumbs now on her neck, working muscle and bone and pleading her to relax, give herself to his touch.
There's nothing that hasn't been said already Margrett.
Her eyes had fallen closed. Tension fell from Kiko's body with each stroke of his hands, she hadn't noticed it occurring either. She really needed to get back into some type of training regimen. Her head dropped lower too, when he started kneading at her neck.
Her voice as a consequence was somewhat muffled.
Just at the gate of town.

Kiga was also curious about how they had met, he knew Grayell had many strange and almost implausible stories - things he himself may have discounted if he hadn't seen his share alongside him.
But Kiko was a rarity in this end of the world, her being here was something of a mystery.
Grayell's hands now pressed entirely to her neck, lifting her head and taking it's weight gently below her ears. His thumbs circled a number of pressure points there, then drove inward, met, ran down and up again. She was a little more tense than one might guess... he'd have to see to working it out. No, that wasn't being rude you perverts.
Kiko was a mercenary. I needed some more muscle for the journey.
He smiled then, stopped massaging for just a moment.
I can tell. She gave a sidelong look to Alec and Kiga, noticing the birdman moving closer to the scholar.
So, are you two, ahh...?
Alec [M:118:6:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=412&page=1#1242]"I see," said the blind man to the deaf lady.[0:Wandering the stacks.][1:Present and accounted for.]
Not really noticing Kiga scoot closer, Alec comes back to himself and turns. "Oh. Ah, no." Turning to Marg, he shrugs. "He was just in my bed when my house was broken into a few nights ago, and designated himself my personal bodyguard at the expense of me lodging him." Thinking on his sentence, he continues, stumbling over himself, "But it's not like that, honest, I just only have the one bed in my derelict of a house and no spare blankets." Sinking into the water so his chin was just above it, he mutters, to himself "Not that I'd mind were it like that."
Come in under the shadow of this red rock, and I will show you something different from either your shadow at morning, striding behind you, or your shadow at evening, rising to meet you. I shall show you fear in a handful of dust.
Kiga smiled then... in the most wicked manner although it were subtle. He slung an arm about Alec's shoulders ansd dragged him closer, almost roughly.
No, not like that at all. Why, the very first time we met Alec was secured to a table with his pants about his ankles and he had me with my wrists bound behind my back.
What a night that was, eh Alec?
He then kisses Alec roughly on the cheek.
Alec [M:118:6:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=412&page=1#1242]"I see," said the blind man to the deaf lady.[0:Wandering the stacks.][1:Present and accounted for.]
Hands clasped and held before his chest, Alec turns bodily to Kiga, eyes wide with faux-shock. "Oh yes, quite the night. But you seem to have forgotten the part where I was trapped under that very same table - you remember, after you threw it? - and you were making off with half my purse." Reaching out and gripping Kiga just below the shoulder, Alec pulls him and kisses him on the lips as roughly as Kiga has his cheek.
Come in under the shadow of this red rock, and I will show you something different from either your shadow at morning, striding behind you, or your shadow at evening, rising to meet you. I shall show you fear in a handful of dust.
Kiga whistles when that happens, and his tongue licks his lips slowly. His free hand slips under the water and with a very deliberate grin and lean forward, he pinches Alec's nipple... hard. He chuckles and then pats him on the chest, the arm over his shoulders still there but his hand mussing Alec's hair.
Well call me a tease then Alec, you were certainly enjoying yourself...
He laughs aloud, something almost rare; and he leans back, sliding away from Alec then, shooting him a mocking, sly look with pursed lips.
