Grayell and Kiko had travelled back this way after a day's play in the wilds. They'd stopped briefly by his house to get dressed and grab a pair of towels and were now at the hot springs.
The night was cooling down, the steam from the rock pools rolling about instead of floating away and making the scene almost eerie. The glow bugs in the trees were bright and speckled the area, their glow only made into a larger aura with the fog in the air.
Grayell marvelled at this beauty, the moon was mostly hidden this night... but what light it gave caused Kiko to glow in an ethereal manner. He watched her, took in her grace and poise, smiling all the while.
Old habits died hard of course, he turned his attention to the surrounding trees and their shadows in case any trouble lurked there. Satisfied, he removed his shirt and crouched to test the water with his hand.
Kiko knelt down on one knee and brushed her hand through the water.
It is warm.
That was something of a marvel, not to mention the glowing lights flickering around about the trees. The place took on a rather mythlogical aspect for her. She expected one of her grandfather's gods or goddesses to come walking out of the fog.
Of course, they'd immediately be followed by some terrible monster. She glanced around.[/size]
Grayell lifted his wet hand and ran it down her arm with a slightly cheeky expression.
Hm. No time like the present.
He stepped out his boots, loosed his gauntlets and then unfastened his belt buckle. Hands at his waist and unfastening his trousers he shot her a look.
No peeking now. I'm modest.

That thought sent several pictures spinning through her mind's eye, though. From the first time she'd seen him standing in the middle of a river with half his clothes off, to dangling from ropes outside a treehouse.
No monsters had appeared. No gods, either. Kiko stuck her foot in the water tentatively.

Grayell disrobed entirely and with a smile that soon became a hiss, he slipped into the water. He lowered himself slowly, adjusted to the heat... and then finally sank in far enough that it didn't bother him. He walked to the centre of this one pool and turned to face her. The water was meeting his sternum, but he plunged under it. Hands wiped down his face as he broke again from the water, eyes closed as his lips gently blew water from his mouth.
He pulled his hair from his face and looked at her, extended a hand.
Kiko toed the hot water. She only hesitated for a few heartbeats. He was standing easily in the water, nothing had happened. She disrobed, folding the clothes up in a neat pile and slipped in.
The heat enveloped her legs, thighs, belly, and was up over her chest before she reached him and hair curled in little wavy lines on either sides of her cheeks.
What makes it so warm?

Grayell grinned. Yeah thermal blahblahblah so on and so forth. That was BORING. He scooped her with a chuckle into his arms and his hand brushed hair aside from her cheek. He held her against him, swaying in the water side to side lazily... and then kissed her. His smile broke it soon enough and he chuckled again.
Hmmm. It might be us.
Alec [M:118:6:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=412&page=1#1242]"I see," said the blind man to the deaf lady.[0:Wandering the stacks.][1:Present and accounted for.]
"W'actually," Alec says, slinging a towel off of his should and pulling his shirt off, "it's probably something in the ground. Some form of residual heat, rising through layers of the earth. Though, you're body heat really can't be...hurting..." Realizing Gray wasn't serious, Alec trails off. "Right. Got it. Hello, Gray. Long time no see, friend. And I see you've got a lovely new friend," he says, mocking a bow before shucking off his pants and wading into the spring. "Alecsander Greenwood, at your service madame."
Come in under the shadow of this red rock, and I will show you something different from either your shadow at morning, striding behind you, or your shadow at evening, rising to meet you. I shall show you fear in a handful of dust.
Grayell laughed then and wound arms about her like a mage works magic, him now standing behind her. His arms eagerly covered her chest and his chin rested on her shoulder, him growling ever so softly and barely enough for her to hear it.
Ah Alec. Meet Kiko. Kiko... meet Alec. Our rather unreserved resident scholar. How have you been Alec?
Kiko's eyes were a bit less reserved than before, her expression warming up. Her father was a scholar. She didn't move from where she was standing in the water. Instead she watched the other man approach them.

Alec would rarely travel alone and apart from his new acquaintance, who stepped from the dark surrounding the springs with folded arms.
He looked upon the threesome with one dark eye, expressionless. This was somewhat unusual. Alec had removed his clothing without hesitation... Kiga was not so sure. The woman was undoubtedly eastern, she smacked of it.
But he turned to face Grayell and lowered to a knee, his right fist pressing into the ground and his eyes cast down.

"Oh, yes, the resident scholar. Have you an interest in the academic pursuits?" Alec asks Kiko. Then, turning to Gray; "Oh, you know," he says, maintaining a diplomatic distance from the couple. "Go explore some ancient ruins, almost get most of my money stolen by a ninja - this ninja who accompanied me here, in fact - who - later - moves into my house as a bodyguard in return for lodging, and that's after some extremely powerful magician sneaked his way into my house and searched through some of my tomes." Shrugging, he leans against one of the walls. "Same old same old, you know. And, as Kiga already knows Grayell, Kiga this is Kiko. Apparently."

Kiko nodded at Alec, but her attention had been caught by the other one.
One of Kiko's eyebrows went up in surprise when he spoke. She stopped watching Alec to focus on the bent Kiga. Her eyes narrowed down, too. She was studying him with a more intent look. She'd heard the title before, though not on this side of the world.
You are this one's teacher, Wolf?

Grayell only nodded to Kiga, he didn't exchange words... but smiled. He shrugged when she asked though, held her against him almost possessively. Almost, his demeanour indicated that was not the case. Maybe a little.
Kiga? Perhaps. We have a history he and I. He's native to your homeland nonetheless.
So. Roomies huh? Interesting. Hope you're keeping him out of trouble Kiga.
