Serenity thought her little joke was obvious, perhaps her lack of crude humor didn't make it so. Rolling her eyes she propped herself up on her elbows as well before turning on her side and leaning in on Marg's ear, as if there were undesirable listeners in the room with them.
Putting her mouth nearly against her Margrett's ear, she told her in a hush what her sly insult meant, her words carried by her warm breath.
Margrett's eyes widened for a moment as Serenity whispered to her, then laughed, pulling her close for a kiss and then pushing her back onto the bed, leaning over her with her hands on either side of Serenity's head.
You're dirty, you know that? You sure you want to leave, doll?
Serenity received the kiss gladly and pulled Margrett back for another, giggling to herself. She almost couldn't believe herself right now, but the night was grand and for now she wouldn't think of the consequences.
The lady pouted a little at Margrett's question, having just met her and seemed to make her a good friend over the course of an amazing night. Serenity had to go, but...
"Yes, but not right now!" and she plopped herself back into her sleeping position.
Tallia opened her eyes groggily, brought to attention by her captain's words. She yawned loudly, then stretched her arms wide. Placing them back in front of her, she lifted her rear in the air and stretched her legs, before returning to her sleeping position.
"G... Good morning, Captain..."
Noticing another presence in the room, she turned her head lazily to see Serenity there as well.
"G... Good morning... Lady Serenity..."
With her greetings issued, she situated herself in the bed, falling back to sleep.
"Morning Talli, you sweet..little thing you." Serenity's words became hushed as she followed Tallia's example and tried to snooze herself back to sleep. Whether Marg wanted it or not even.
She couldn't remember who went to bed first, Serenity swears it was Tallia. Which was a shame if that was the case as she really wanted to play with her some more. The fact that the little cat was so nervous made the lady just want to gobble her up further, like a wild animal. Or a bigger cat.
Serenity opened her eyes, wearily, but her brow was raised at what must have been the third time Margrett asked that question. She turned over towards Margrett's side and looked up at her with her head still on the pillow.
"You keep asking me that, is there something wrong?" she meant it sincerely and was looking for an honest answer. It struck her as odd that the captain would pry this over and over.
Serenity was quiet, not the awkward sort but more of her usual pondering. She didn't think of what Margrett would want after this, which was a mistake Serenity shouldn't have made. Clients always wanted a come back, but Margrett wasn't such a woman. She was a captain of the guard and a seemingly good friend of Serenity now.
After thinking it through rather quickly, which something like this she'd normally ponder more on, she smiled at Margrett and wrapped an arm around her head. Pulling her close to kiss her.
"You can have me again captain, and perhaps you'll indulge me with a drink, which I promise to share with you when I get back."
If I can come back, assuming the army doesn't capture me first...
Margrett smiled, secretly delighted, matching the kiss. Her hands went down the sides of Serenity's body to her hips. She pulled back for just a moment.
Just...just so we're clear this isn't an...escort thing...you're buying.
"Of course," Serenity said giggling a little before pressing against Marg's lips once more before turning to face a sleeping Tallia.
"Kitten?"
Serenity leaned over towards Tallia and paralleled her head with the Cathian's. Serenity chuckled to herself, "Wake up love, if I can't sleep then you can't either," she kissed the cat briefly on her cheek.
Tallia "There are some things... that we all can't escape from..."
Feeling Serenity's kiss, she picked her head up to face her. Still drowsy, her eyes had looked like they'd not been open yet.
"Nyaaaah....?"
She wiped her eyes with the side of her hand, trying to clear the sleep out of her eyes.
"S... sorry..."
She apologized, as though Serenity spoke of a known rule. She repeated her stretches, then sat with her knees in front of her, with Margrett and Serenity in view.
"E... excuse me for asking... b... but is breakfast... ready...?"
"Awww you sweet little thing you." Serenity couldn't help herself and she wrapped her arms around Tallia and hugged her close to her chest, "I should propose a law that states you can't be this sweet."
She turned her head towards Margrett, her arms still wrapped around Tallia, "I suppose I can stay for a meal, do you have anything to eat in this prison, Margrett? I'll be more than happy to make something."
