Chaz walked in, shoving the door open. It looked like it had rusted shut. When he entered, dust and cobwebs moved all around the room, covering nearly anything. His heart sank a little, but he tried to remain cheerful.
Well. It's got a forge. And uhh. Tools. And things. Granted... He lifted a pair of tongs off a nearby bench, and they broke.
Mmmmmost of them are broken. But it's not all bad. The room's big enough. It was actually very small. It was two rooms, one main room with the forge and tools and a closet almost the size of the big room. He didn't want to look in there yet.
Sort of. There's...no bed or anything. That's fine, I can sleep on the floor. He tried to smile, but sighed.
Yep. Everything's coming up roses.
He put his suitcase on the floor and kneeled before it, opening it up to retrieve his stack of paper and pencils. He put the paper on the side of the suitcase and sat crosslegged on the floor as he wrote.
Dear Anri,
I hope you and the baby are doing okay. I stopped at Wistvale like we planned. Turns out they did need a smith! They gave me my own workshop and everything. It looks...
He cast a look around before continuing.
...great! Once I get paid I'll send you guys a little something. I hope your mother is doing well.
Kiss kiss, Chaz
He left the letter on his suitcase. He'd mail it later, after he found someone willing or able to take it to the Underdark. He rolled up his sleeves and got to work cleaning.

Now my only other question... can your possibly embroider something on it? I haven't the design as yet, a friend of mine is working on that as we speak.
Utterly and completely uncomfortable with the places Gray put his hands, Chaz was silent for a moment, ears against his head. Then he laughed nervously.
Haha. Ha. Aha, yes. I think I can... He pulled on his collar.
Manage. Just, umm...bring some string. I can embroider anything you want on it. Shouldn't take me long. I don't... He cast another look around at the mess.
I don't have a lot to do.

Chaz stared after him, still confused. He'd never sold his services before, so he wasn't sure how much it would take. Then he thought of something.
What kind of town has a seamstress before it has a blacksmith? He thought that over and decided not to think about it. He laid the cloth on the table and took out his scissors. He paused, then tried to remember where Grayell's hands had been, then immediately regretted that, and started to cut.

Grayell walks back in quite some time later and lets out an exhausted breath as he drops the reams of cloth, some various strings and sighs in exhaustion.[/i]
Right. Not a lot to work with. I grabbed some silver and gold cloth, some string... yarn.. whatever. I even think there's some ribbon in there. I want this embroidered on the front, as best you can.
Grayell handed Chaz the paper tha Alec had drawn on.
Lemme know if I can help in any way. I'm done running about for now.
Chaz had a mouthful of needles and he paused in his work as he looked down at the stuff he brought.
So um. Okay. That cloth there. Another shirt, or want me to try and get creative with just this one. He pulled up his goggles as he inspected the symbol.
What is this?
