Tallia, hearing Kerag's voice began to head in its direction, when she spotted Venom frantically searching for something. I'm guessing he's looking for me, she thought. Proceeding in his direction instead, she called out, hoping he would hear her.
"S... Sir Venom...! I am here..."
She arrived next to him a few seconds more, and outstretched her arms, bearing his belongings.
"Here... I... I thought you might want these..."
With a bit of a nervous laugh, she bowed.
"Th... thank you... for... worrying about me... You... did really good out there..."

Kerag saw Margrett and walked over to her, holding Amaranth in his hands. He turned his head, looking over his shoulder where he watched the vampyres disappear in their strange pocket dimension. The orc finally shrugged, unsure how best to answer the captain.
"Captain Zaedus and I discussed some matters with Renquist and his brother after he conceded defeat. You were right about him toying with us for his amusement...They disappeared after our conversation. "
Kerag sighed for a moment then his features brightened as he shot Margrett a sly grin.
"But I drew first blood, got the first and last blow on him like we agreed."
Kerag made eye contact with his Captain and smiled.
"Even got his sword. Now about our agreement...one night right?"

Seems our amorous friend was forgetting something. His persistent suggestion however somewhat stirred his loins and well...
PAIN. Rather uncomfortable, needing an ice pack pain. After all, Renquist had nearly crushed his man berries. He would have a hard time walking let alone doing the horizontal tango. Oh well. He could hope there was no pee in his blood at least.....

Kerag felt the urge to sit down and he did so, cupping his family jewels as he recalled with vivid clarity what the vampyre had done to him. All the excitement numbed the pain of battle for a little while but once the adrenaline faded he was clearly in some pretty agonizing pain. He grumbled.
"You know what, you're right...not exactly in the best condition for those kinds of exertions right now...by the old war gods this is terrible."
The orc took some heavy breaths, mentally fighting the urge to growl and scream about it. Vampyre or not, this just wasn't right!
Kerag scratched the back of his head, still wincing a little from the pain.
"How would you like the gold to be divided Margrett?"
He counted the pieces he already had, then examined how much they had left to decide upon.
"Another 130 gold pieces and I can get plate armor with some unique properties. If we have that much to spare on recruit gear of course, I'm content regardless."
He pulled Amaranth a few inches from its sheath, admiring the black glow, distracted from his abused loins. With a quick push of his hand he sheathed the sword once more.

I didn't do anything, so I won't take any of it. The fighters will take the lion's share, the rest goes to the bank. She paused, seeming a little distracted.

Kerag nodded, leaving Margrett to her musings as he turned his attention to both Zaedus and Venom.
"You heard the Captain, we have 490 gold pieces left to split between the three of us. Combining another 130 gold pieces to my share makes my take 300 gold. To be fair, how about we each take 300 from the 1000 gold pot, leaving 100 gold extra to put in the bank and or tip Tallia for her time and help. How about it my friends?"

No need for greed, as much as you may believe we have earned this, remember we have others to worry about when it comes to the hopefuls we have waiting to become recruits. Believe you me I would love to take a bigger cut but my duty lies within Wistvale and not my pride.
He said smiling at Kerag.
Besides, we could use our own independent building for training and lodging, unless you prefer to live in one of the shacks littered throughout the town.

Kerag smiled, taking to heart Zaedus's wisdom and laughing with him.
"Of course Captain, I'm often too prideful for my own good but I know truth when I hear it. Shall we take the appointed share of 170 gold each and put the rest into such a building. Hehe But I'll have you know that my shack happens to be one of the nicest in town thanks to a little confiscating and Charles's handy work. I certainly agree."
The orc managed to stand now, arms crossed.
"390 gold to the Guard bank and 100 gold for Tallia fair?"
