Nero stepped forward at the edge of the crowd and then dropped into the pit in front of Renquist, narrowly dodging the axe. He stood in the path of the raging wolf, quickly spinning around before attempting to release a straight kick to the Worgen's stomach and send him back.
"That's certainly no way to attack master Renquist."

Kerag thought they'd had the vampyre, and then before he knew what was happening Zaedus caught him and the knife in his chest. The orc stood, retrieving the knife apologetically and fixing it back into the axe as he caught it from the Captain. He was thankful Zaedus still retained enough of himself to care about the recruit during this battle, and he found the news reassuring. Turning back to Ren the orc's eye glowed a brilliant red, perhaps a little brighter now as he tore at the restraints of his armor, letting the heavy plate fall to the ground around him, revealing the tapestry of scars adorning his body. He packed power, but not enough speed with all that gear to actually land something on Ren, and even now, he wasn't sure how he could match the supernatural grace of the vampyre. But he sure as hell was going to try. Kerag charged again, getting close enough to swing his axe in a 360 degree arc around him, ignoring the newcomer, hoping the axe connected against him as well, using the momentum from the swing to throw his entire body into a slam against Ren.

Zaedus flew backwards from the surprise kick. Zaedus tried to advance to either tear through the newcomer or go around, but he could not move the raging beast now controlling him, seem to falter and waver. Every rime the Worgen went to move something compelled him to stop. Leaving him standing there growling the black and crimson aura around him only growing stronger. Had this magic flowing through Zaedus recognize something about this newcomer or was he being controlled by another source? he roared inprotest not even having control over his own body
Ren slipped a hand to Nero's shoulder as he sent Zaedus to the wall once more and whispered to him with a grin. His eyes were gleaming with a cruel, red manner and he looked to Margrett - though his voice was kept to Nero alone.
Go now. Find the wolf. I believe he will be in their council building. Test him for me won't you?
He slid away as Kerag now unleashed hell and danced around the flurry of strikes. As the Orc closed ground and forced him to the wall, Renquist dropped to a knee to duck the shoulder barge and...
... the Orc was snatched. Right on the berries. Renquist stood with a sneer and a yank, the Orc's unmentionables locked in his cruel hand.
Should I dare?

Kerag's blood was pumping, he never had so much fun fighting in his life! He couldn't speak anymore, the orc blood in his veins, that primal heritage of war and conflict compelling him to continue the onslaught. Once he backed Ren against the wall, he went for the the slam, only to stop cold in his tracks, feeling a cold dead hand around his gonads. Kerag looked down and held the edge of the axe against Ren's throat. The urgency of the situation cooled his battle-lust and he gulped, trying to not falter in his resolve.
"Not very warrior-like of you Renquist. Take my...family jewels and I take your head."
The orc grumbled, hoping to everything holy and sweet and wonderful that the vampyre didn't do his worst.
"Giving me a mission already, after all this time? And here I was hoping for flowers and drink." he shook his head at his dumb little joke, chuckling a bit remembering what Marg had said earlier.
"Well my adoring fans, I leave you to the disgrace of the city guard!" he bowed his head before climbing out of the pit and making sure to walk past Margrett,
"Catch me if you can!" he winked, before starting in a sprint out the door.
The worgen now being able to move walked over to the two combatants, standing behind Kerag.
Are we finished, or are we continuing?
Spoke the Worgen though it was not his voice. It was abnormally deeper and sounded as if two people were speaking in tandem. Zaedus waited anticipating the next move
Renquist studied them both with narrow eyes and then leaned in toward Kerag. The edge of his axe pressed against Ren's neck and drew blood and the vampyre hissed, teeth locked in a smile.
I suppose you've drawn first blood Orc. How very brave of you. I would suggest you watch your back though....
Renquist lifted a hand and the gesture bore into Ravarin's mind. It triggered something in the Worgen and Renquist lifted a finger upon his other hand, pushing the axe aside. With Zae locked on his hand and his finger wiping his blood from Kerag's axe, he stepped to stand between them. He dragged the finger across his tongue and shuddered in pleasure.
I concede defeat. But.... I have a demand. I wish to speak with you both.... privately.

Kerag's eye widened again, surprised the champion, this vampyre Renquist gave the fight over to the Guard. The orc felt his pride swell in his chest, but he said nothing for a moment, keeping his good eye on him the entire time. He sheathed the axe, turning to look at Ren, suddenly curious what he had to say.
"Very well, I shall hear you out."
The orc grumbled, trying to keep his lips from curling into a victorious smile.

Raevarin nodded and jumped back down into the arena. He approached the Worgen the vampyre shifting into the dark form he had taken earlier before bestowing his "gift" to Zaedus. He place dhis hand upon the Worgen's chest brought back his arm and slammed it forward into the Worgen.
Play time is over, I suggest heeding Renquist's words.
If you sought to live you had naught but run and hide yourself away, but when the weak court death.....they find it. If you wish to challenge me, I will allow it. The choice falls not unto me or to the whims of fate, Tis your alone.
Zaedus did not move however the pain was immense. He grumbled and growled the dark aura fading, his eye returning to their original blue. The blackening of his fur slowly faded as if being sucked in replaced by Zaedus' original coat color. All though the effect of this magic was gone he still felt oddly restrained by Renquist.
I agree to the terms....even though I am at a disadvantage.
Very good. You will have your gold the moment we are done....
Renquist stepped only three times to place himself in the center of the ring and them stamped his feet apart. His hands grasped at the air, the twisted at something they could not see. His teeth locked and his eyes danced as his hands writhed, then dragged apart.... then slammed into the ground. The pit was swallowed in a darkness, cold and infinite. They could see nothing around them but a darkness, illuminated by a large glowing etching of a cherry blossom below their feet.
Time stood still for all onlookers. Nothing would transpire in their world.
Renquist stood in the dark, looking upon Zaedus and Kerag. Behind him were Raevarin & Red. He looked to the two guards and smiled subtly, no sign of malice. Now his voice was clear, controlled and almost human.
Come. Take a seat both of you.
Renquist folded his legs beneath him as he sat on the floor.
Zaedus did so feeling he was in complete control of himself now. he was set aback by the sudden change in mood from Renquist, through the mixed emotions he never kept an eye off of Raevarin...
An odd place.....you are full of mystery Renquist...
Raevarin took his place by Ren's right side, he took a seat smiling widely at the two. His impressed look seemed genuine, the facade of a hearltess fiend seeming to erase frmo the Vampyre's demeanor.
