You should go see the jinglegnomes. They've probably already picked a fight with the badgers by now. We'll be there to help.

The sounds of battle were coming from beyond a hill nearby.

Yep, the gold coin was still there. Would be worth a pretty penny, too. As he crested the hill he saw an incredibly bloody battle. On one side, the gnomes are fairies, and on the other the badgers. Off to the side was a pot with a large jingleberry plant. He could go grab it if he were careful.

Orp decides that developing a relationship with the jinglegnomes and mushroom fairies would be more beneficial than taking a single plant.
He tries to eye up the weaponry of the fight. The old baton on his belt may finally get a chance at action. The dagger concealed in his shoe was pristine and never used and almost called to Orp to try it out for once and do the real dirty work.
The badgers seemed to be using stolen, rusted swords and homemade spears. They probably wouldn't be too hard to defeat if he should face them.

The gnomes weren't, but the fairies were. Little bolts of light that sizzled and burned.

The soldiers point to an upraised platform upon which sat a throne. In the throne sat someone who was obviously the fairy queen. She was, indeed, a little overweight.

The queen looked over at him imperiously, her nose in the air. She was a good distance away from the fighting.
Oh, hello. Are you the one that started all this...kerfluffle?
