Level 1 SHAMANIC MAGIC

Effect: Calling on the forest guardians, this spell dims all animals ability to detect the caster.

Effect: Due to his allegiance with nature, the mage can summon either a rat, a snake (non venomous), or a lark, which will obey simple commands.

- Swarm Summons -
Effect: The mage calls to the smaller creatures and impairs one target with a swarm of insects.

Power: The target suffers a 2 point penalty to Awareness and any applied combat Talent. Lasts 30 seconds.
- Keen Eyes Of The Hawk -
Effect: By meditating, the caster sees as the hawk, directly above them in the sky.

Power: The caster has aerial vision as long as they focus on this spell, but for no longer than 1 minute.
- Strength Of The Bear -
Effect: The Shaman adapts the power of the bear, granting himself immense strength.

Power: The mage gains a + 4 bonus to Brawn. Lasts 30 seconds.
Level 4 SHAMANIC MAGIC
- Elder Staff -
Effect: By taking up a branch, the mage has it blessed by the elder gods and imbues it with terrific power.
Range: Must hold branch. Can be wielded by caster only. Unequipping will destroy the staff.

Cast Time: 1 whole round.
Power: The branch is transformed into a + 3 Polearm. Lasts 15 minutes, is then destroyed.
- Entangle -
Effect: Summons briars which wind from the ground and ensnare all hapless creatures above.
Range: 18 feet.
AOE: 12 feet.
Cast Time: Immediate.
Power: If targets have less than 3 Gymnastics, Can cause a 3 point penalty to both speed and Gymnastics. Lesser enemies may be held and unable to move. Lasts 2 inutes.
- Traceless -
Effect: All effected allies no longer leave sign of their passing, unless causing excessive damage to their environment.
Range: Centers on caster.
AOE: Allies within 12 feet.

Power: 30 minutes.
- Level 5 SHAMANIC MAGIC
- Summon Familiar -
Effect: By communion with nature, the mage summons either a bobcat, an otter or an owl, which will happily obey very simple commands.
Range: Summoned within 10 feet.

Power: Type of animal as GMs discretion, caster cannot choose animal. Lasts 20 minutes.
- Thicket Of Thorns -
Effect: The mage urges growth from the soil beneath them, creating a dense wall of thorny underbrush.

AOE: 6 feet thick, 8 feet tall and 16 feet long.
Cast Time: Immediate.
Power: Lasts until cut through, burned or otherwise destroyed or dispelled.
- Charm Animal -
Effect: Through the magic of the wild, the mage can charm one natural animal, which will then defend the caster and attack any threat.
Range: 15 feet.

Power: Success dependent on the animal's intent and power of the mage. Lasts 5 minutes.
- Level 6 SHAMANIC MAGIC
- Woodland Cloak -
Effect: The mage can use their powers to alter the appearance of their allies, having their very equipment change colour and grow leaves and the like.

AOE: All present party members.
Cast Time: Immediate.
Power: All party member's appearance is altered to camouflage. All receive a + 4 bonus to concealment. This spells lasts 15 minutes.
- Longstride -
Effect: The mage adopts some of the assets of nature's animals, bolstering their muscles and altering bone to empower their own abilities.
Range: The caster.

Power: The mage gains a + 3 bonus to Speed and Gymnastics. This lasts 10 minutes.
- Autumnal Storm -
Effect: The mage calls on nature's cycle to intervene in battle, buffering their enemies with leaves and other debris.

AOE: 50 foot radius.
Cast Time: 1 whole round. Interruption of this spell will reduce damage taken by targets.
Power: All enemies within the AOE are take slight to moderate damage, relative to their proximity to the mage.
- Level 7 SHAMANIC MAGIC
- Berserk -
Effect: By channeling nature's anger, the mage can have one target become an immensely powerful warrior, if only for a short time. In the berserk state, the target must attack all enemies without thought to consequences and ignore all pain.
Range: Must touch target.
AOE: One target.
Cast Time: 1 whole round.
Power: The target receives a 5 point bonus to combat Talents & Endurance. All attacks on the target gain a 3 point bonus. This spell lasts 5 minutes and all sustained damage and effects will be felt immediately thereafter.
- Blessed Bow -
Effect: The bow is sacred as an instrument of hunting. The mage can therefore imbue the bow with magnificent power.
Range: Must touch the bow.
AOE: One bow or crossbow.
Cast Time: Immediate.
Power: The bow grants a +5 bonus to the projectile weapon Talent. This spell lasts 5 minutes.
- Eyes Of The Pack -
Effect: With the soul of the predator coursing through their veins, the mage bestows his party with incredible vision to aid their hunt.

Power: All party members now gain infravision, as well as + 3 bonus to Awareness.
- Level 8 SHAMANIC MAGIC
- Summon Greater Familiar -
Effect: As a champion of the woodland creatures, the mage can now call upon assistance from either a bear, a leopard or a great condor. These animals can carry out simply commands and will assist the caster in combat.
Range: Summoned within 10 feet.

Power: Type of animal as GMs discretion, caster cannot choose animal. Lasts 20 minutes.
- Whole Self -
Effect: The mage has mastered their physical being and therefore, becomes immune to all adverse affects.

Power: The mage becomes entirely immune to any further status effects. This spell lasts 30 minutes.
- Choking Spore Cloud -
Effect: By urging fungi to release their spore, the air becomes choked with a thick, green gas that can cripple the strongest opponent.

Cast Time: Immediate.
Power: All creatures within the cloud with low Endurance are effected as such: less than 3 Endurance = Paralyzed, less than 5 Endurance = Choking or Nauseas, less than 7 Endurance = Impaired vision.

- Assert Dominion -
Effect: Swelling with the power, the mage can assert themselves over other living things and force them to stand down.
Range: The Caster.
AOE: 100 feet.
Cast Time: Immediate.
Power: The mage is granted an immediate bonus of + 8 to Intimidation. This spell affects all creatures within the AOE. The mage must act on this bonus immediately, as the affect lasts 10 seconds only.
- The Unspoken Pilgrimage -
Effect: The mage empowers his party, so that they may endure the harshest conditions and be relentless in their hunt.
Range: The Caster.
AOE: 20 feet.
Cast Time: 1 whole round.
Power: All allied creatures within the AOE gain a bonus of + 4 to Endurance. This effect lasts 4 hours.
- The Druid's Path -
Effect: A soft aura indicates intent to the wilderness and the party passes unhindered.
Range: The Caster.
AOE: 20 feet.
Cast Time: 1 whole round.
Power: All allied creatures within the AOE gain a gentle, green aura. The wilderness about the party will bend and move to make their passage almost effortless, returning to normal as they pass. This effect lasts 1 hour.
- Level 10 SHAMANIC MAGIC
- Wereform -
Effect: Through incredible focus, the mage can alter their very physical form and adopt the features of a Wolf, a Bear or a Stag; resulting in a humanoid hybrid of man and animal.
Range: The Caster.

Cast Time: 2 whole rounds.
Power: The mage gains + 4 to all Athletic Talents & Melee Weapon Talents. This lasts 15 minutes. The mage MUST spend 5 minutes returning to their normal form after this time and can take no other action during this cool down.
- Animal Bond -
Effect: The mage can attempt to form a bond with a chosen animal and if successful, will have a faithful companion for a time.
Range: 12 feet.

Cast Time: 1 whole round.
Power: If the Intuition and will of the mage outweigh the will and disposition of the target creature, the creature may be bonded. Will only work on mundane animals. Lasts 12 hours, until the mage next sleeps or if mage dies. The creature will comply with agreeable requests and will defend the mage.
- Herne's Triumphant Rally -
Effect: A glorious horn echoes over the field of battle, rallying the mage's allies and dashing the morale of their enemies.
Range: The Caster.
AOE: 80 feet.
Cast Time: Immediate.
Power: All allies gain + 2 to Combat Talents. All enemies prone to lvl 5 Intimidation suffer a 2 point penalty to Combat Talents.
