Alyssa could hardly believe her fortune! There was her quarry, practically dropped into her lap by some passionate deity. Not only that, but he wasn't alone, set in the most curious position with his quarry. While perhaps a rather uncomfortable situation to some, Alyssa saw this as the most fortuitous opportunity. Not only has the obviously obsessed to madness rat revealed his desire, but he had also presented a chance for Alyssa to win favor with a viable source of information.
A chance the female Host would be foolish to let slide.
Gently encouraging her moths from her sleeves in a small batch, she directed them fprward with a simple target. Her fingers moved as if directed a puppets strings, twisting in motions that were practically artforms. The moths were not quick of course, but Alyssa relyed on the likelyhood the target was too distracted to notice such a simple, silent little intruesion. Alyssa continued to subtly direct them, remaining hidden by the corner as she attempted to have the moths gather around the rat mans eyes, temporarily obscuring his vision.
It would be most fortunate if he accidently crushed one into his eye, or even devoured one. As much as she hated to lose even one of her precious insects, the irritation it would cause his eyes or tongue would be all the more worth it. If he devoured the whole hoard well, there wouldnt be much need for her dagger. The rat man would be too busy attempting to claw out his own throat, and if left untreated the resulting swelling could even close off the air way, resulting in suffocation. At least, thats what her experiments had shown. She doubted it would be quite to that extent on such a larger specimen, but she was more than simply excited to find out.
