Dom had just sat quietly through the whole exchange between the new girl and the usually reclusive young man. He'd heard the subtle sound of him going into the rafters, as if he'd thought it might've been protective when the other cat person he'd met, Chaz, also seemed to favour the roof space. He'd played a quiet little instrumental piece, a love song in fact, just to see what mood it might've set.
He felt a tad disappointed. The girl had seemed thoroughly bubbly and fun, if a little erratic, but it seemed she was occupied now. Margrett's mention of money also got him to thinking on how he could make some. It was all well and good leaning on the support of the passers by but perhaps something a little more ameanable could be arranged.
He walked up to the bar, staff clacking on the floor and leaned to the barkeep. His voice was low and conspiratorial.
"Look, if you think I'm getting you a bit more custom with the songs and stories I'd be happy to come to some official agreement. You let me bunk up here, have one meal and a couple of drinks a day and I'll play here every evening from sundown to close." He put every bit of subtle emphasis and negotiational inflection into his voice that he could.
(OOC: If you want to decide on if the barman goes for it Orp I'll abide by it, otherwise I'm going to assume it's fine. It's just so I can get drinks in character as a pauper bard without having to rely on other PCs to get them for me, at least until I get a bit of gold to justify having spare cash)
