This first post is dedicated to medicinal and herbal research as conducted by myself. As follows are my findings of late:
Currently equipped:
Emaciated Dreadmoss.
- A foul smelling but popular herb for it's psychotropic effects in it's purest form.
- Can remove and prevent (3 rounds) any mental interference upon the consumer.
- Reduces the consumer's mental talents (Any magic, Lore, Liason, Ingenuity) by 2 points for 3 rounds.
Sinspider Silk.
- Harvested from the very beautiful and altogether deadly Sinsppider, this webbing is considered the toughest amongst all arachnids.
- Acts as a very fast binding 'dressing' on open wounds, tugging wounds closed and sealing the flesh.
- This webbing is very hard to dissolve, any spillage may lead to unfortunate complications.
Congealed Uttercap Tea (Antivenom).
- A potent brew made from the Uttercap mushroom, it is most certainly as deadly as venom itself if must be administered in the right dose.
- This antivenom will counteract all venom but the user must remain immobile or suffer further damage and/or accelerate the effects of the venom.
- Rounds needed for full effect based on severity of venom and at GM's discretion.
Pricklefish Maw Powder (Antidote).
- Whilst life saving, hardly the most eloquent solution.
- This antidote can counteract any and all poison.
- The user will suffer extreme nausea, up to and including both vomiting and feinting.
- Duration of these effects based on severity of poison and GM's discretion.
Singeweed Linament.
- This linament smells very pungent, the odor is quite hard to remove and can lead to nausea if used in a closed space and in excess.
- It is an extreme antibacterial and removes infection, causing to to bubble to the surface and drain from an open wound.
- Only works locally, it cannot purify the entire bloodstream.
Dried Rotroot.
- A narcotic chewed to illeviate pain by numbing the mind.
- It is also an anti-inflammatory, but is highly addictive.
- It is dangerous in large quantities and will poison anyone ingesting it entirely.
Masterwort Tincture.
- The alcoholic extract of the Angelica plant, combined with other unknown ingredients. It is an impressive mental stimulant.
- This liquid can alleviate the symptoms of Fatigue, though not reduce it.
- It can also combat any spiritual interference with the imbiber, though the quantity required is dependent on the severity of said interference.
- A dram too much can render the drinker entirely blind, abuse of this substance can make this effect quite permanent.
