This pumpkin was really starting to annoy her, especially with it digging its annoying creepy fingers into her shoulders. It rather hurt too. At least there was water, although there wasnt much. She smiled and attempted to use her water magic to form a small ball of water and throw it into the side of the pumpkins head, hoping to knock it away from her.

Ivy's Magical Ball of Watery Wet Stuff splashed into Pumpkin Preston's orange head, putting out the lighted candle inside. The axe-wielding psycho dropped like a pile of sticks and his long, sharp fingers raked across the girl-in-the-white-dress' shoulder, drawing a nice amount of blood.
Ivy grit her teeth against the pain, immediently placing a hand over her wound and attempting to use her healing magic to heal herself. She stepped away from the body of the crazy pumpkin and walked out of the room. "stupid creatures taking my dagger." she mumbled under her breath, hoping they would be outside the door. But her adventure self was interested in what lay behind the other doors. She left the room and turned to the right and went to the door and opened it.

Ivy's shoulder healed nicely as she left that room and it's deranged inhabitant behind.
Her next choice of destination turned out to be a room of similar size to the previous one, only this one contained abandoned furniture - a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and several bookcases - topped with dust and placed haphazardly around the room. Two torches were mounted on the wall, providing the room with light, and there was no sign of pipes.
Ivy paused to listen for a moment before going to the bookcase where the noise was coming from. Not wasting any time, she walked over to it and tapped on it. "hello? someone here?" she tapped louder.

Ivy didnt expect to see another pumpkin head, especially not a dog. Well, at least it wouldnt be calling her a pie, and she really liked dogs. With a huge smile and a cry of delight, Ivy dropped to her knees and threw her arms around the pumpkin dogs neck. "I LOVE DOGS!" she exclaimed happily.

The pumpkin-head 'hound' sniffed Ivy in a dog-like manner, woofed half-heartedly since it had just woken up, then pushed away from the girl and wandered off towards the corridor she had just come from.
The creature began scratching at the door Ivy had yet to open.
Ivy pushed herself up and followed the dog, stopping next to it and squatting next to it, scratching the skeletal dogs pumpkin head. "such a good dog" she cooed softly, standing up swiftly and opening the door and walking in. She wondered if there would be the little theifs or something she could fight on the other side as she stepped into the room.

The door opened at the top of a staircase. A wave of warm air hit Ivy as the pumpkin hound scampered ahead, down the steps into the cellar-like room below.
Another pumpkin-headed figure, six foot tall, wearing a bizarre green robe was standing with his back towards the stairs, stirring the bubbling contents of a large cauldron. He didn't seem to hear Ivy enter the room.
Shelves lined the walls filled with jars of many-colored powders and liquids and...other oddities. The hound went off to one side and laid down on a pile of blankets.
"Ah, Abbott. Where have you been? Anyway, I think I've finally done it."
Ivy frowned. More pumpkins? She sighed, starting down the stairs slowly, wondering why she didnt just leave to look for her dagger, then grinned to hersef thinking its because she so loved adventures. She looked around at the jars and wrinkled her nose at them before turning her attention away from the grossness and to the tall Pumpkin. "Um..excuse me? Have you seen my dagger?" She asked hesitantly, wondering what the pumpkin was stiring in the culdron.

The green-robed figure jumped at the sound of Ivy's voice and spun round, splashing liquid on the floor as he held up his ladle like a protective shield.
"Who...Who are you?" He said in a shaky voice. "What are you doing here? How did you get in?"
Ivy almost laughed. "Some creatures stole my dagger, and I followed them here. And my name is Ivy." She paused to peer around into the culdron. "What have you finally done?" she asked, interested

The pumpkin figure fell back against the cauldron and held out an arm in a guarding manner, eyeing Ivy with suspicious glare.
"It's a cure. For a curse."
Abbott the hound got up from his bed and started licking up the spilled liquid from the floor, just as flames from beneath the cauldron licked at the pumpkin-head's robes.
"Abbott, stop that!" He said, moving forward to shoo the hound away, oblivious to the fire spreading up his green clothes. "It needs to boil for a little while longer."
Ivy was fasinated. "A cure to a curse? Would that be the pumpkin you have for a head?" She looked over at the dog and smiled, then noticed the fire and her eyes went wide. She pointed quickly. "Youre on fire! Your robes are burning!!" She said hastily, hoping he could put the fire out in time.
