Ok well let's vent. BRINK was such a huge waste of money. The novelty factor was short lived, the unacceptable lag on 360 multiplayer and repetition completely over rode what was only a gimmick. Just another FPS.

Doubtlessly, but at the same time you've got to give it a nod for the innovation of the running system. One thing I did hate about it though, was they seemingly entirely discouraged sniping by not making headshots one hit kills. I ask - HOW does that make any form of sense?

That and there weren't crap for sniping lanes, grenades were a small AOE knockdown and so on and so forth. The free running was buggy and the levels didn't reward you enough for exploration. Killing wasn't consistent. AI was telepathic, being an operative vs AI was a waste of time.

Ick. I played the demo on PS3 and rarely have I suffered such a shallow game with a total lack of substance that touts a sub-par art style as 'innovative'. Apparently innovative means horrible platforming sequences due to the crap on screen being so hard to read.
F.3.A.R was good, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of Gears 3 and Skyrim.

Picked up Bayonetta today, so far is pretty meh. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten it expecting a female Dante that kills people with boobs, but I was. It's also terribly easy. The only thing that's killed me yet is a quick-time event. So....eeyup.

The two mandatory escort missions in Bioshock 2 pissed me off way too much and I decided to just harvest all the others. I know I was playing on hard but I seemed to die constantly and certain splicers seemed to withstand multiple headshots with things like the speargun (Or I may just suck at the game).
I also tried the multiplayer today. It didn't seem that good for what I saw.
The multiplayer SHOULD have been good, but shitty balancing ruined it.
I liked the protect-the-little-sister sections because it was a change of pace and forced you to think differently. You suddenly had to be defensive and make use of your surroundings even more. My opinion, of course.
Also the speargun sucks. Shotty all day every day.

Hey, once you get the shotty upgraded, and use slugs or incendiary ammo, it's probably the deadliest weapon in the game. That's how I felt, at any rate.

Yeah, accuracy was always a secondary concern for me. I was a pretty defensive player and used a lot of plasmids, so luring splicers away from a Big Daddy was easy.
