So, this is a little late, but I am here to say hello to you all. Also I am randomly going to interrupt this broadcast for this tiny cute little saying that has been going through my head:
The phone goes GREEN GREEN. You PINK it up and say YELLOW.
I recently started working as a personal assistant for my older brother who lives halfway across the country from me. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to all the people who work for him and he thinks it sounds like I say 'yellow' when I answer the phone. I heard that little thing with the colors a long time ago but it has been going through my head for a while now.
Let's see. I've been using my character's name in the chat box, but usually I go by Cowette online. It is a play on my last name and part of what I would call an ice cream shop if I ever owned one. My last name is simple Cowett and the ice cream shop would be 'Le Petite Cowette'
Sometime in the next year I will no longer be a Cowett. I am engaged and will hopefully be able to afford my wedding(I already have my dress and my bridesmaid and maid of honor dresses, they are gorgeous! Seriously, my dress has all this embroidery on the skirt and bodice, claret ruching(don't know how to spell that), pretty little straps, and down the back it has claret so the big dramatic train is this gorgeous claret color with silver embroidery and beading. The first time I tried it on at the shop the women there all gathered round because they had all been looking at it in the storage area thinking it was such a gorgeous dress.
My bridesmaid(my cousin, a busty 17 yr old brunette) and my maid of honor(my brother's fiancee, a tiny tanned blonde) are both in strapless claret gowns with silver along the hem and a silver inset on the back to match the red. The beading on their dresses is almost a match for the beading on my dress so it is going to look fantastic.
Sorry, got distracted there.
Ahem. I am twenty four years old. I have always loved writing and story telling and stories. I started reading with my mom when I was in the third grade. We took turns reading chapters from the original Nancy Drew books. We read together almost every night from then until I was in high school and she started working nights.
I started doing online rping on Neopets when I was in middle school. At that point I did a lot of fantasy type roleplaying. From there I branched out into rp sites and went from fantasy to real life based boards. I got into a couple different sites based on books or games. I have been on a lot of Harvest Moon based boards, which is another thing me and my mom did together, even going as far as buying a copy of Harvest Moon 64 and peeling the barcode sticker off of the rental places' copy so we could switch them out. (For those who don't know, the Nintendo 64 games were all saved on the cartridge itself so we had to have their copy to be able to keep our saved games)
I got into playing D&D when a friend of mine started dating an older guy who used to play. He taught us how to play, but his rules were a bit off from what I hear other people talk about. For a while we played weekly, but when those friends broke up that ended. We talk about starting up again, but everyone has such different schedules so it hasn't happened.
I joined a zombie apocalypse board called Not Another Zombie Board, which you should all now go and take a look at. It lost a chunk of players recently but there are still a handful of us there and we are all awesome. If you join soon you will get to witness two of my characters have epic reunions with their loved ones! Also there are a lot of Dr Who fans there which makes it doubly awesome.
Anyway, I started playing a Korean character on NAZB and I got hooked on watching Korean(and now Taiwanese) dramas on netflix and online. I joined a couple of Seoul based boards and it was one of those(that sadly died before I really got started) that gave me the inspiration for Xana. I was searching for a place for her when I found this site and joined up.
Oh, and my cat just had kittens. Three of them.
