Name: Dominic McAllister Race: Human (With distant Elven heritage) Age: 35 Physical Description: Born blind, with light grey pupils and irises showing the state of his condition, Dom otherwise looks relatively normal. Just a little under six feet tall, with the look of someone that once was quite stocky and well fed but has been leaned down with the rigors of the road. A somewhat unkempt shock of chestnut hair and beard give him the look of a seasoned traveller, but not exactly that of a fighter.
There's a faint air of the mystical aura of muddied elven heritage about him. It only really comes to the fore, however, when he takes out his instrument and begins to play. He can give you a story, which doesn't seem like much. Well...wait 'till you hear it...

Love, like Hope, has too few letters for a word so powerful.

Something I wanted to mention Dominic. Having one in survival does not make your hearing extraordinary as I am sure you are aware. For the sake of role play I understand you must rp your other sense to compensate for the loss of vision but above all else we have to abide by your talents.
Just an FYI, no particular incident that made me look into it outside my own curiosity. i am sure you're keen to invest points in it at any rate.

Yeah, I'm trying to roleplay and explain that it's a combination of hearing, touch and experience of body awareness that does it. I'm assuming that I've got slightly above average hearing, which can be said to be very good if I'm focusing on it (the assumption that a 0 in survival is an average human and 1 would be a near perfect untrained score, such as having natural 20/20 vision). I'm also trying to leave open opportunities for GM's or other PCs to have me pratfall or make a mistake.
Also I'm assuming I can use combinations of other skills to perform feats such as detecting lies, identifying sounds and the like from a combination of Arts Lore Kinship and Liason (Judging the accoustics of a room for example would be a combination of Artistic experience and the Lore knowledge of accoustic theory, or spotting a lie may require a combination of Liason and Kinship, while telling one could be assured by Arts and Liason)
You have given this more thought than I have so bravo. Yeah, no problem of course just wanted to toss out a head's up before some nasty GM jumps on you about it.

I updated your acclaim and gold, Dominic. Though. Your gold might be off. Did you deduct monies for your purchase of the robes here on your thread? I do not see a notation for it. Let me know and I'll adjust.
