She brought herself up into a fully seated position, shaking her head. The stuff hit her harder than she thought it would... Was she... still dreaming...? Why was she here...? Everything that happened after she met Regis was a blur... Tallia looked to the small girl, then to the woman.
"...F... fine... I-I'm... fine... I think..."
In her mind, she was anything but; she hadn't known where Quick had gone off to, much less where she was at the present.
"U... um... e-excuse me... but... wh... where... are we...?"
The little girl looked excited to see Tallia get up and reached out her arms toward her head from her mother's lap.
"Oh, no, no darling. I'm sorry, she wants to touch your ears. She was trying to do so in your sleep almost immediately after Lord Regis brought you on board."
The older woman settled down her child on her lap and made her sit still as best she could. For a mother, she looked exceptionally young; shining brown hair that flowed down over her right shoulder down to her breast; barely a wrinkle on her cheek; and smiling bronze eyes.
The little girl had shorter brown hair, and her mother's dimples, but there were several key differences, most notably a rounder nose tip and dark brown eyes. Obviously traits from her father.
"We're on the merchant Donnivan's caravan train, my husband. This car is somewhere in the middle of the pack of...oh how many were we again," her eyes looked up remembering, "Forty or so wagons and carts?"
Tallia noticed that the passenger car she was in was extravagant. The car was finely crafted, using several distinct woods to decorate the interior; ebony and rosewood in particular. She could feel that the seat she was on had a velvet cushion and pillows laid on either side. The curtains, also velvet, draped down and were of a violet color over the windows.
"I am Lady Fray, and this little one is Rose." Lady Fray moved one of Rose's arms to puppet a waving motion at Tallia.
Tallia "There are some things... that we all can't escape from..."
Tallia couldn't help but smile at the girl; her cuteness captured her heart. She almost felt like playing with her, instead... Snapping back to the situation, she looked around at the magestically designed train, wondering what other kinds of nobles can afford something this classy. I wonder why he put me in this car, she thought. Wait... did she say...?
"...y...your husband... h-he resides... in another... car...?"
At this point, she would have to be blind and deaf to not understand where she was. Eyeing the girl, then the woman once again, a slightly stern look crossed her face. This was fate tempting her, and she knew that very well, but... she knew she couldn't do it. Just thinking about separating the two made her want to cry instead...
There had to be some other way... and she was going to find it. But, for now, there would have to be something done about this...
"...L... listen..."
Giving a heavy sigh, she prepared herself for what she would have to face. Her head lowered, as though it suddenly gained the weight of the world.
"Th-there's... something... I... I have to t-tell you..."
It's at this point that Tallia noticed something in her pocket. When she felt around the inside, Tallia could feel what seemed to be a cloth and a small glass vial.
The woman was busy keeping her child occupied and only caught a bit of what Tallia was trying to say.
"Hmm? Oh I'm sorry dear, what is it that you wanted to say?"
She suddenly raised her brow in surprise as if something just came to mind. The Lady Fray reached over to a small bowl that was put off to one side of the car, on top of a tray. She offered it's contents, which were small white truffles.
They were oddly shaped; half sphere with a pointed center that were articulated with a little chocolate dip.
"You must be hungry after your nap, please take some sweets, it's all I have in this carriage for now."

Tallia "There are some things... that we all can't escape from..."
What... what was this doing here...? And how come she didn't notice before...? She disregarded the fact that someone had apparently slipped something on her person while she was asleep, and brought her attention to Lady Fray. Plucking a truffle from the bow, she gave Lady Fray a seated bow.
"Th... thank you..."
She observed it quizzically. It didn't look like anything she had seen before... do only nobles had the pleasure of eating these delicacies? With her tongue, she caressed the chocolate tip gently, getting the taste registered into her brain. As though to broadcast her happiness, her ears twitched in delight as she did so.
"お...おいしいですわ...♥"
Promptly consuming the rest of the treat, she took a moment to fully savor its essence. She then felt the strange items in her pocket, and then remembered what she had to say.
"O... oh... right..."
Her happy expression faltered as she gazed at the beautiful mother. It wasn't going to come out easy, but she knew this whole thing was wrong... Even if it is for charity, theft is still a crime... That shouldn't be passed onto them... all it would do is instigate more chaos and disorder... She gathered her hands in her lap as she prepared herself for what she had to say.
"L... Lady Fray... th... the truth is... th-that... I... I didn't randomly... end up... here... I... I have s-something important... to... to tell you... a-and I ask... that... r-regardless of... of what I shall say or d-do... p-please... do not... do not be alarmed..."
