Kiko sucked in a breath when his wet body was pressed against her back. Though, the chill lasted only for a few seconds, the length of his body quickly started to warm her up. In fact, she was halfway dazed by the sudden influx of heat that when he spoke she needed several seconds to process the words.
She was tugged along with him toward the fire and moving by instinct. Kiko went to her knees and tucked her face into his throat. She turned halfway there to put her back against his chest and face the fire. The last look she had of him before turning away was the leaping flames highlighting his face and eyes.
I'm glad you came out this way tonight, Wolf.

“Put some clothes on, you weird, yellow-eyed, table-dancing, werewolf-training, cryptic, stare-me-right-in-the-eyes-and-don't-even-blink wench.”
Rested on his side, both arms about her waist but him higher on his shoulder, his head beside hers and looking into the fire. One leg was raised at the knee, his body pressed against her for warmth. He turned his head just the fraction needed to kiss her cheek and drag his nose along her jaw to her ear.
Grayell nodded and reversed the draw of his nose along her jaw now, it lifting and instead being replaced by lips. They didn't kiss but instead closed on her chin quite softly. His eyes would not leave hers through his affections, his voice little but a purr in his throat.
Kiko tilted her chin to enjoy the sensation. His hair was falling all around her shoulders as the fire started to dry it off. It was a small tease, one she enjoyed even more when he moved his head.
Every winter, Wolf. The lake would ice over and we would beg the Armorer to put blades on our boots. We'd hold races on the ice.
Kiko's voice had slipped into a lower tone.
Eternity
“Put some clothes on, you weird, yellow-eyed, table-dancing, werewolf-training, cryptic, stare-me-right-in-the-eyes-and-don't-even-blink wench.”
Grayell smiled and lifted his lips from her chin then and again, pressed his nose to her but behind her ear this time. He drew a breath from her hair and growled a little, his body relaxing.
I... can only imagine the snow on you. Tiny flakes, taking their time to melt...
Grayell groaned then which led to a laugh, he was too good at teasing himself at times.
Kiko looked back over her shoulder at him. The more he touched her, even with the tiniest little brush of skin to skin, she wanted more. She reached out to wrap her fingers around his wrist and tighten his arm about her.
The new tone in her voice when she spoke hinted at mischief.
Oh... Yes. All over. Snowflakes. Bare skin.
Eternity
“Put some clothes on, you weird, yellow-eyed, table-dancing, werewolf-training, cryptic, stare-me-right-in-the-eyes-and-don't-even-blink wench.”
Grayell's teeth flashed by the fire then and it was all too evident that the imagery had him stirred. But he lowered to lay behind her... and his mouth planted tiny, soft kisses from between her shoulders, trailing to the nape of her neck. He said nothing but with the last kiss, lingered and tasted her skin.
Kiko's cherry red lips curled upward in a sudden smile.
Have you been East in the winter Wolf. Seen the snow fall among the cherry trees?
Her eyes had drifted closed. She could see him weaving his way through a stand of trees in the snow, or rather the white wolf's nose poking out from a tangle of empty branches.

Grayell worked lower now, his mouth still trailing her spine until he reached the small of her back. He turned then and trailed up with baited breath to her side, above her hip. He bit her gently and chuckled before he laid his chin there. The fire drew his attention again.
Kiko's spine bent when his teeth hit the small of her back. She pulled in a sharp breath and let it out slowly while he dragged them to her hip. Her heartbeat was thudding against the skin there, she could feel it surge to the surface.
How long?
Now she was curious. He had not spoken much about it at all, only fleeting words.

Grayell stayed at her hips but slid a hand into her hair, the other wound through her legs lazily. His head tilted to it's side now, laying his cheek below her ribs. She could feel him breath against her now.
Oh... a time and a while. Some years. I... moved about some. It's a large place. But as for the far east... your neck of the woods, perhaps a few years. I have not given it much thought since that time.
Her eyes drifted back open. She tucked her hand into the drier strands of his hair, twisting just a bit to to laze in his embrace. The snap of the fire faded away, the stars above her head now bright gems across Lady Sky's throat.
Was there a reason for the trip?
Kiko did not want to pry, but curiosity was dragging the words from her lips.

Grayell twisted too and his upper half now laid on her, his head by her chest. His tone had shifted a little, there were things he would share with her, though it was not always easy. His time in the east was not always pleasant.
I needed to train. To learn what I was doing wrong. To find myself.
Kiko lifted her head. She had been idly plaiting the strands of his hair that was dangling around her face into a braid. His first few words were no surprise, of course. The others... well they hit a nerve.
I never felt like I was doing anything right when training.
