He nodded in order to signify the fact that they were now within view of... wherever it was they were headed. The town was more of a city, a fledgling city perhaps but a city nonetheless. It was fortified, large stone walls surrounding it, ramparts lined with guard. Below the walls were the huddled masses, a shanty town thrown up around the massive town.
Smoke rose from the innumerous chimneys and wafting off into the blue sky of the new day.
