Grayell smiled then, his eyes lit up. He leaned closer to her, swaying side to side with the rocking of the cart.
Marg... my night....
Was none of your damn business.
He rolled the candy in his mouth and might have grinned - hard to tell. He turned his attention back to the road and leaned back, still swaying side to side as they gained speed and broke from the Wistvale gate.
He sat quietly after that smiling at the fact the sun was on him and he was on the road, leaving the town for a time.... but he thought of Kiko, pottering about their home or attending market in her kimono, standing out and drawing admiration and awe. He licked his lip then and his eyes closed for a moment, he sighed.
Meanwhile, Marg felt the need to tell him about her night? Why? Because she was with Serenity? That puzzled him - but only a little. He had more pleasant thoughts consuming his time.
He glanced down to see if she was even still there. Marg didn't do small talk but was acting strangely...
Grayell smiled, better she got her rest or more than likely, she'd be irritable. Well more than usual anyways. The cart rolled continued to roll but Grayell sniffed the air, looked to the clouds rolling on the horizon. He looked at the driver with a nod.
It was hard for her to sleep. She merely dozed, holding her eyes tight as they went along. After a while she sighed and tilted her head back, adjusting so that she looked out the window a little, blinking sleepily.
The cart continued to sway in it's hypnotic fashion and Marg watched the sky roll by. She could hardly hear the occasional banter between Grayell and the driver, their voices but mumbles. The wind that wafted through the cabin was cool though and laying as she had, the spacious cabin felt much like a soft bed, swaying side to side as it rolled along,
IT was a long trip. As she watched the sky roll by she weighed Grayell's objections. Could something happen? Sure. But the things they could gain from this...
She yawned. Too tired to puzzle it out. Eventually sleep did come, and Grayell could hear her snoring, lightly.
