Charlotte giggled, amused with Grayell's furious temper. The pirate lass watched him swim back in defeat, talking to the Puss and another person she barely made out from the distance she was putting between them. The wind kissed her cheek and she smiled satisfied for now. Turning the wheel a few degrees left, the Catarina was close to where the map indicated it was. Charlotte's grip on the wheel tightened and she licked her lips, thinking how she was going to manage her ludicrous plan successfully. It was a gamble of course, but then again, she relished the excitement.
She dropped anchor, overlooking a spot on the left hand side of the lake, a little ways from the center. There wasn't a clear landmark she could use to be sure, but it seemed close enough. Charlotte braced herself on the side of the boat, looking down into the depths, sighing heavily.
"Well, time t' get t' it then."
She took a deep breath and jumped over the side, diving into the water. She swam downwards, into the faintly visible underwater realm, looking for the obvious indication of where she needed to go. She'd have to swim deeper first, towards the bottom...

After receiving Grayell's first attack, Solena had lost all control of the metal around them. They had all landed with a thunk or splash, depending where they landed. The second attack in the air almost made her pass out from the power behind it. She was lucky Gray had grabbed her out of the water, but somehow she had a faint smile on her face as she saw the ship sailing away. Mission complete. She knew she was messing with the wrong guy, but to receive such a beating like that, she would never have imagined. Her eyes barely staying awake, but she could see Grayell was pretty upset and he demanded her to walk, which was very difficult. Her tiny body could not handle so much pain, and she had trouble standing on her legs. She said nothing.
Chaz was looking forlornly at the metal objects and things spread everywhere and bloodied by Solena's attack. Part of him was more sad about that than about Gray being hurt. He shook his head when Gray talked to him, looking up at the wolfman blankly for a moment before grinning and saluting.
Yessir! Right away.
He started to go, but saw Solena looking a little...weak. He sort of understood. He cleared his throat.
D-do you want me to take the elf to the, uh...jailhouse? To be locked up. S-she looks a little, uh...weak.
Grayell returned and in all honesty, didn't appear to be in any better a mood than when he left. Fancy that. He looked for both Kiko and Chaz, time to gear up and get on the water.
Kiga lurked over his shoulder like a shadow. Grayell's eyes moved but his head didn't turn, it was as though they communicated without eye contact.
I hope you're feeling energetic mate. There's only one way we're catching the Catalina.... and you're it.

Kiga only nodded, he didn't shadow Grayell's angry demeanor. No, he had none. He walked behind the bug guy with silent strides and scanned their surroundings. This should be interesting.
Kiko had, in the interim, managed to find a boat. It was even halfway decent, and the owner willing to charter it out. She approached the Wolf just as he was speaking to Chaz. She detached her body from the shadow of a narrow building at the edge of the dock to hail them.
Wolf. Acquired a boat, though, you'll have to pay the man first.
Her voice was short and terse. She mirrored his mood, though hers came from the thought of that mouthy pirate wench parading around in front of him half dressed, more than anything else. That bitch wasn't getting out of this encounter intact if she had her way.
She grabbed the rail of the boat and swung her feet over the edge. Kiko landed on her toes and tossed the hood of her cloak off her face. She knew nothing about how to sail a boat, naturally, but she had no problem taking orders for now.
Her eyes darkened once again to amber. When they caught up the Catalina, however, well...
Kiko smiled and her canines appeared from behind her lips. There was going to be a reckoning. The Wolf was her mate, no brazen little hussy was going to just make off with him, or his boat. Not while she was running beside him.
Eternity
“Put some clothes on, you weird, yellow-eyed, table-dancing, werewolf-training, cryptic, stare-me-right-in-the-eyes-and-don't-even-blink wench.”
Chaz reluctantly stepped aboard, looking anxiously at the water. His clothes had dried out, somewhat, but his hair and fur was still frizzy. He huddled into the back of the boat, nervously holding on.
So, uh...what are we doing again?
A good scientist is a person with original ideas. A good engineer is a person who makes a design that works with as few original ideas as possible.
Grayell grinned with malice in his eyes as he dropped onto the deck and cast off. He took the rudder on their tiny skip and settled in, grabbing another rope in his free hand.
Hold on. We're about to catch the Catalina and the bitch who stole it!
Kiga leaped into the boat with deft precision and then as was explained to him, he took stance behind the sail. His hands rested at his waist and he breated in a moment, eye closed. His hands then gently rose up and came together, each hand wound about the others in some strange gesture with hidden meaning.
They leveled in front of his face and his eye snapped open - as he emitted a long shriek like a kite, a strong blast of wind seemingly originating from nowhere and battering the boat's sail, forcing it into motion with absurd acceleration.
