Her chest would have been bare, weren't for the peach colored corset underneath. It was another obstacle for Margrett to overcome.
"Looks like you failed your search," Serenity grinned triumphantly, "My turn..."
She unlocked her hands and went for the bottom of Margrett's shirt, grabbing from either side. Serenity raised it up gently, rolling up Margrett's back. Before removing the shirt completely, Serenity kissed her, grabbing her lower lip with her own and pulling it back a little before letting go completely to remove Margrett's shirt.
She raised her arms a moment to let her slip off the ragged shirt, moaning a tiny bit in her throat as Serenity took her lip. Once it was off, her hands went back to the small of Serenity's back. Marg's chest was covered by the strip of fabric, tied in the back, but for now she smirked at the mage and leaned closer to her.
Oh, we're taking turns now, are we? She pulled Serenity close, aggressively and almost possessively kissing her, her lips dancing against the mage's, going down her chin and down the side of her neck. She let the mage fall away a tiny bit as her lips moved across the top of her chest, teeth grabbing onto the tie that held her corset closed. She pulled slowly, looking up at Serenity, eyes flashing mischievously.
She let out little gasps as Margrett kissed her and proceeded down to the string of her corset; she raised her head slightly to look down and see Margrett grabbing the string with her teeth, causing a shiver to run down her spine.
Her belly tickled, and her chest tensed a little, her little gasps came faster.
The lady turned her eyes to Margrett's own string, the one restricting her bosom, and she raised an arm to reach it. Extending her index finger, she placed a nail on top of the string and pressed down slightly to let Margrett know what she was about to do.
Grinning briefly, she made a crook with her index finger, and slowly pulled back the length of cloth.
Margrett giggled in her throat through the string in her mouth, taking her time with the last few inches. Her hands teased Serenity's chest around the corset as it got looser, thumbs plying it up gently. As Serenity's gentle hand started to undo the cloth on herself she felt a tingle, a chill down her spine.
With one final, slow pull, the string came loose, and the corset fell off just as the cloth came away in Serenity's hand. Margrett smiled, dropping the string and looking Serenity in the eyes and she pulled the mage close, meeting her in a kiss and pushing her back onto the bed.

Later that day, they left the inn, Margrett leading Serenity by the arm, down the street. Margrett beamed a little, looking at the shops they passed cheerfully.
Serenity followed along, allowing Margrett to escort her about town. She brushed some of her hair out of her face and sighed in pleasant relief.
"Anything in particular you'd like to look at first? My scroll can wait, I doubt that such a thing would exist out here anyway."
She wasn't being discontent, quite contrary, she didn't really care if they found a scroll or not. At the moment, Serenity was just enjoying herself and whatever the day brought her, whether that be the treasure she sought or just a pleasant outing with Margrett. The mage had a carefree smile and a free spirit about her.
Let's try that shop over there. She pointed to one called Oddities and Artifacts. It looked like a magic shop, a low level one really, but with a lot of toys and fun little magical things. There were a selection of windchimes in the window, and crystals on the shelf.
Serenity wasn't studying the shops as much as Margrett and didn't notice the antique store. She was more just enjoying the day and looking forward to a cup of tea at the end of it or perhaps a glass of warm milk.
"Oh, perhaps, maybe we could find something of interest for you as well?"
She began to feel a little hopeful to find something for either of the ladies. A scroll on healing magic would be nice, but the shop looked like it might hold several interesting things on its shelves.
The bell ringed as they entered, but there seemed to be no one there. Margrett let go of Serenity, patting her arm gently as she examined the store. The shelves were packed with various odds and ends, some obviously magical and some not, some labeled and some utterly mysterious. In one corner was a shelf full of scrolls.
Here, Serenity.
Margrett started to look through them, then realized she had no idea what she was looking for.
Aha....what...should it look like? These just look like scribbles to me...
Serenity stepped closer to the scrolls and opened a few.
"These are studies, love, they are supposed to be practices for perfecting magic." She seemed to simply glance over a few before sighing, "Most of these are fake however, these exercises seem to be amateur studies or poor attempts at imitating a real one. We have a library of them back home in my personal study. I wonder what father turned that room into if anything."
The mage looked over a few more before assuming that they were all like this, "Not sure if the shop keep is aware that most of these are fake or poor though..."
Of course I do my dear. There was a voice from behind them, strong and friendly but somewhat quiet. A man was standing a desk, turning the pages of a book and smoking a pipe, seemingly disinterested with the two women in his shop.
Margrett had jumped a little, and then after a moment wordlessly passed Serenity a look. He hadn't been there a moment ago. The man continued.
I have to weed out the normal folk coming in here looking for cheap tricks and remedies and love potions without putting in the work and study.
He looked up to them with piercing blueish-gray eyes.
You understand that, don't you? One of you, anyways.
Serenity turned around, not as startled as Margrett, as most of her focus was on the scrolls before the shop keeper made his presence known.
The mage greeted him with a serene smile and bowed her head slightly, "I'm Serenity dear sir, and yes I understand completely." she chuckled, "Though it does seem a bit cruel to sell faulty products to your customers, no?" she said with slight sarcasm.
She gestured toward Margrett, "This is Lady Margrett, she is the guard captain of Wistvale, we're just visiting and decided to browse your wares. I practice earth and wind magic."

Serenity seemed to beam with pride for a moment, happy to share, "I studied my arts in Highever," she said as straightforward as she could.
The man seemed to amuse Serenity, most of the professors and master mages she studied under were aged, but consistent practice gave them fit bodies and strong hands. The eldest, she remembered, was just about 60 but looked as if he were barely entering his 45th year.
"We walked in looking for a scroll on white magic, healing magic. I don't suppose you would have one with you?"
"You were a professor at the University in Highever?"
Serenity was quite surprised, she never heard of anyone leaving the great city, not that she ever inquired to begin with. However, most of the masters and educators of the magical arts prospered and live a life second to noble families and high merchants. Why would this fellow start a shop so far from home?
"Oh, I'm not sure if we could do that." she looked to Margrett with uncertainty and then back to the shop keeper, "What is it exactly that you need to be done?"
