Kiko gave Tyre a small smile and her voice was quietly smooth.
I try not to be. I pay attention to as many things around me as I can. But, I cannot predict everything that will happen. No one can. Keep your eyes on things. Then that little blue girl over there I saw you with will be the one surprised, hm?

“Put some clothes on, you weird, yellow-eyed, table-dancing, werewolf-training, cryptic, stare-me-right-in-the-eyes-and-don't-even-blink wench.”
Venom began to wonder if this was what it would feel like to have a son. A little clone of himself, looking up to to him. It was a very strange feeling, but he tried not to show it.
Hehe. Thanks. You have to earn these, but... I don't think I'd want you to. Maybe one day I'll make you a different one. How'd you like that?
Chaz poked his head around the bar, looking around suspiciously. The skeleton jester had already taken the big entrance surprise....he'd waited too long. He snapped his fingers and sat, thinking a moment. He'd put together what he thought was a scary costume; jagged but softened metal armor that matched his chestplate, a scary-looking helmet that covered his face. He sighed eventually and jumped over the bar, landing in a group of kids and growling. In truth, his tiny frame and pathetic growl wasn't a lot to be scared of, but he tried.
Rawr! Rawwwwr!
It probably didn't work.
A good scientist is a person with original ideas. A good engineer is a person who makes a design that works with as few original ideas as possible.
Tallia "There are some things... that we all can't escape from..."
She cocked her head to the side, lost in deep thought. It was rare for her to see one, much less participate. They seemed like lots of fun, but with the way things were... well, at least she was able to enjoy herself this time.
"So... so... you dress up... like other people...? Sounds... interesting... I wonder... who I should dress up as...?"
Sasha pressed a finger to her chin, thinking over Margrett's comments. She gave her a sly but respectful glance.
"Aye salute! I plan on joining the Guard and being just like you one day!"
She flexed her arms.
"I'll be strong and the boys won't know what to do about me."
Sasha giggled. --- Kota carefully examined the tattoos , caught up in their designs, entranced even. He snapped out of it and smiled.
"Really?! I'd love it! I can't wait to be a guard!"
He nudged his friend, a boy with dyed white hair, watching Jonah bemused.
"That's Jonah right?"
The white-haired boy nodded, patting Kota on the shoulder and walking over.
"Names Wade. Nice prank you pulled on Tyre."
Wade smirked.
"Trust me he had it coming." ---- Tyre thought over Kiko's reply, smiling at her now as he looked across the room at Sasha. He chuckled.
"Surprised sooner than she thinks too."
He bit his lower lip, wanting to keep talking to Kiko.
"Can you keep a secret? We're not supposed to tell everyone, but…since you're new, and were so nice…I can trust you not to tell right?" ---- Chaz jumped in the middle of Toma's conversation with Chaz's double and a few of their friends dressed as ghouls. The ghouls fell back yelling, and Toma tilted his head, not really scared but perplexed. Chaz's double reacted and struck at the cathian's helmet with the wrench, screaming as he did so. Toma only shrugged, eyeing the passed out orc at the bar. ---
Tallia's double nodded, thinking the question over long and hard. A lightbulb turned on in her head and her face brightened.
"Something spooky? Ghosts are easy!"
The little girl looked around, contemplating pulling a sheet off one of the tables.
Kiko lifted a brow at the words. Of course she could keep a secret, she had for years. Who would she tell anyway? No one in this tavern was known to her at all.
I can keep a secret.

I must warn you, it's not easy to become one. You must train hard everyday and always be on your watch. Alot of people come and go to this village, and you never know who's looking for trouble. You have to be strong in many ways. Are you strong, Kota?
He leaned forward to inspect him a little better while he waited for his answer.
Wade casually leaned back, laughing with Jonah. He pointed at the costumes, his own included, and then gave him an incredulous look.
"You seriously asking me that…wearing THAT?!" ---
Tyre beckoned Kiko come closer as he leaned into her ear and whispered.
(PM Sent)
He leaned back and buried his hands into his pockets, blushing a little. ----
Kota nodded, listening carefully, thinking over Venom's wisdom.
"I think I understand."
He rubbed the bridge of his nose, finally looking up at Venom, making eye contact. Kota suddenly smiled, his uncertainty gone.
"In here at least."
Kota tapped his temple.
"For now, until I'm old enough to train!"
He folded his arms.
"I won't forget your wisdom Venom sir…I'll be strong for the guard one day! ---- Sasha's eyes widened and she gasped, looking at the silver star. She graciously accepted it, pinning the star proudly. The girl kept looking down at the badge, then up at Margrett, gleefully jumping in place, throwing her arms around the Captain.
"Thank you thank you thank you!" --- Chaz's double let his arm down, catching his breath, heart pounding. Chaz took of the helmet and the kid's jaw dropped. He was speechless, adjusting the goggles before he simply nodded at Chaz's question.
"So sorry!"
He finally managed, offering his hand.
"Nearly scared me to death! Call me Watson. I'm a big fan of your advances in technology and science! Really impressive stuff!" ---
Percy giggled, shaking her head.
"Of course I know you silly! The cutest guard in Wistvale"
She smiled, playing with her tail. Tallia asked more and she merely grinned.
Hahah! She took the hug and patted the girl on the back.
Keep it safe. She pointed to Sasha sternly, but smiled.
I want it back in one piece. A friend gave that to me, and it's very important...but we'll see about getting one for you to keep, alright? Call it your first guard test.
Tallia "There are some things... that we all can't escape from..."
A man walked in the door quite casually, his was large of build but the cowl pulled over his head concealed his face in what had to be a magical darkness. He looked about a moment and then headed to the back of the tavern, to a table occupied by Kiko and one young man who was blushing. He knelt behind the boy and tapped him on the shoulder.
Grayell pulled back the hood and smiled as hair spilled from his head and about his shoulders. As the young man turned about he looked at him sternly, closely with steely eyes.
