Zaedus sat in the small ante chamber of the Council Hall. He had hoped Grayell was well enough to make it over. He sat at one of the tables positioned near the entrance his hands clasped together.
Zaedus, alarmed by the sudden voice scanned the room briefly.
A voice I have not heard and am unfamiliar with....You are not Nero, Raevarin or Renquist. Tell me stranger....who might you be.....and as for Grayell...I don't particularly like discussing matters of those I know with those that I dont.
He remained sitting, looking towards the door of the council chambers, not moving.
Calmly walking out from his hidden position, Red takes a seat at the opposite side of Zaedus.
My name matters not. I am one you should fear, that is all you need to know. I heard Grayell had a nice beating by my father. If he's your fearless leader, what does that say about your strength? How can you call yourself a guard to these people?
Zaedus cracked a smile, one of limited patience. He had a lot on his mind and playing games was not one of them
So the prodigal son appears... As for your 'father' he is powerful beyond measure. Myself and my companion fought with everything we had, Raevarin even gave me an edge.
He flashed the newcomer a wicked glance.
One of the abilities of your 'Brood'. Even with such "advantages" if you wish to call it that he was beyond our strength. What you all are is beyond me, the unnatural speed and power you all possess is only noted in myth. An example I can give is with Raevarin, his speed is uncanny, how can one go from being visible, then to just seemingly blinking out of existance only to re-appear to deliver a killing blow. Also look at your father, a mere half hearted slap can break bones.... We are no match for any of you, so to compare the strength of us to you is comparing an ant to a spider.
Zaedus shifted in his seat slightly
As for calling myself a guard, I have the capabilities to do so. Any common threat against the populace here I, and the rest of us can protect them. As for your lot you are not common, and the only threat you have asserted is with Grayell...Unless you all plan on becoming a threat to this town
So you fear us, isn't that so Worgen? Do you believe you will always have only a "common threat" at your door steps? I have seen much worse than the Brood itself. We are what we are because of our training and abilities. Although some are born with such powers, it is not complete without effort in becoming the best. You have much to learn. Working for an Imperial will only keep you weak.
I am sure there is much more than 'common' threats in this world. As I stated before your group is beyond such terms. As for gaining strength I plan to do so, by understanding and hopefuly mastering this 'gift' your bretheren gave me.
Zaedus gave the stranger a stern glance
Also, as a clarification, I serve no one. I am not bound to anyone here by force or manipulation. I honor the codes set forth by the laws and that is all. Grayell may have a higher station than I and I respect that. I do not bow to him or anyone else in this city.

There came a loud rapping at the Council door, echoing throughout the room. The handle turned and an armored orc entered the building, his glowing red eye darting between the Captain and a stranger who seemed familiar, like he caught a glimpse of him just the other day. Kerag came to attention saluting Zaedus.
"Recruit Kerag reporting in, I was hoping to speak with the Commander about the arena incident. Is that why you're here too Captain?"
Kerag looked around again. Grayell wasn't anywhere to be found. He focused his attention on the stranger and pointed at him.
"You seem familiar..."
The orc's hand instinctively reached down to grip the handle of Amaranth at his side, observing the man carefully.
(First thing - Empire doesn't exist. Second - Brood are not recurring, too OP. Red can have a cameo here, maybe something in the future, but no recurring use. Too OP, systems collide.)
Zaedus turned to Kerag as he came in, a somewhat dismissive look upon his face.
The commander should be here shortly, when he arrives him and I are to discuss certain matters that are for his ears and mine alone. We will also be discussing the arena because no doubt he will want to know and I can give him the full briefing. Not to sound short, but I ask you to leave Kerag. We can talk later about what you needed with the commander other than the arena incident, after all that is what the chain of command is for.

Kerag gave the stranger another careful look over before saluting Zaedus again.
"Understood. Believe me I'd much rather you talk to him about it then me. Just making an appearance so he doesn't drag me here while I'm trying to sleep or something..."
Kerag stood there for a moment, hesitant to leave.
"Be careful with this one, I think I saw him watching from the sidelines during the arena bout. Till next time Captain."
Kerag turned and left, shutting the door behind him.
((No problem Gray. I figured that the factions no longer exist, but did at one time. I don't plan on using Red as a main character. Like I mentioned before just a NPC from time to time if it's okay. No Brood fighting anybody from here. Just rping for a while.))
Red had never left his eyes off the Worgen, ingnoring the orc that entered and now left.
And what a gift it is. I am curious as to why he gave it to you in the first place. What is it he sees in you to think you deserve to weild it? At times even I as he son do not understand him, but he always has a reason for everything he does. I no doubt believe you'll learn its power.
Red stands up from his chair.
Do tell Marg I have not forgetten about her. We have unfinished business.
As steathly as he arrived, he disappeared into the shadows.
After Grayell had left he growled slightly, an attendant came walking by and before he could ask Zaedus if he needed anything he was sent flyign across the room by Zaedus' fist.
I hope so...
Then he left
