"I forgot to mention he has a temper, probably much worse if he transforms, adolescence and all that, you know how it is Renquist."
He turned to see Zaedus and the Orc, "Well, looks like I'm going to stop you two from interfering," he turned to Rae, "Unless you wanted to help, not that I would need it." he gave his friend an exaggerated wink.

Kerag held his hands up apologetically and then bowed.
"Margrett was against the idea and didn't participate, nor did Recruit Tallia. We thought it was a good opportunity to bring extra wealth to the Guard, respect from the Wistvale people, and honor. The Guard are the new champions of the Arena, and I'm certain it will be easier to perform our tasks now. Not to mention the extra gold for whatever is needed. It wasn't a perfectly sound course of action but we meant well Commander."
He pointed at Ren.
"The vampyre has honorable tendencies but grievously insulted Margrett. Would be the reason why she isn't here I'm sure."
Kerag's eye looked at Nero and he laughed.
"I'm just here to watch Garou."

Grayell's jaw trembled. His head lowered and his thumb flicked over his nose, but he was grinning.
I told you to shut up. Last warning.
Graihl stared at Renquist with a glare that could cause a small bird to explode and then looked back to Kerag.
So... you, Venom and Zaedus thought it a good idea to put your life on the line? Your were on duty recruit and I have to say, gambling your safety seems like a sure way to prove you're not cut out to be a bloody guard!
It sounds to me like Margrett and Talia were the only two to have enough damn sense. You didn't think that maybe you should ask me before you lot participated? Was this thing even legal?
Renquist snickered again and got up from his chair, thoroughly delighted with the scene.
Margrett backed down dear boy, it's in her nature you know. Such a scared little thing, a slave to her own past.... no. She simply didn't have the spine to fight me.
Grayell threw the closest chair and turned it into splinters as it hit the wall. Tapping his foot and now visibly trembling, his teeth clenched, his words forced.

Kerag knew Grayell was about to explode, he quickly responded.
"You may have a point, but aye it was legal, only reason why we didn't shake it down to begin with. It seemed like a good idea at the time, and it benefited the Guard as a whole. We fought as brothers, as a team, and risking our lives is part of the job description, on duty or not. I won't back down from a fight, never have never will."
The orc grunted, bowing his head.
"I take initiative and try to do what I think is best. If that makes me unfit for the guard, so be it."
Grayell was torn between Renquist and Kerag at the moment, but turned back to the Orc. He closed his eyes and swallowed hard, trying to reign in his anger.
Understood. You're all going to be dealt with later. I would suggest you let the other guards now, they are to meet me here immediately. Each and every one of them.
Renquist had an arm folded across his body, his other elbow atop it and a finger to the corner of his mouth.
Oh come now, don't be so harsh on them. Besides, Margrett is sure to be pleasuring another man or two as we speak, I doubt she has the time. I might just pursue her myself....
With Renquist behind him, Grayell felt his blood stir. His palms were sweaty, his breath erratic and his pulse lunged through him, making him want to be sick. But that was it. Enough.
He turned on a heel and whipped out his sword, drove it immediately for the vampyre's chest. It stopped there, something his opponent likely knew it would... and he snapped.
YOU ARE OUT OF LINE MATE!
Grayell looked over his shoulder at the other two Brood in the room, teeth grinding hard. He was past the edge and should be taken very, very seriously.
Either of you such as moves, I gut him. And then I shit on your souls. F***king try me.
