Tallia wandered into the forests north of Wistvale, trying to clear her mind. Not really concentrating on where she was headed, she walked in a straight direction, as her mind tried to steady itself with its thoughts. So much had happened in such a short amount of time... and, it didn't involve any... unpleasantness... this time. She began to feel a little proud of that. Her memories brought her back to the long voyage to Wistvale, where she was without shelter for many days as she bared terrible, unsafe weather conditions. Not really expecting to meet so many people, or even join with the Guard, she was a bit surprised at where her long journey had taken her. But, it turns out it was one of the better decisions she had made. Her mother always wanted her to be free like this, not stopping to let anyone else or anything get her way; she had her own life to live. There was one thing that continued to bother her, though... She wanted to know what she meant... why she had to seek her... Putting a hand to her ear, she detached the jade earring she housed upon it. It glowed brightly in the morning sun, as though it was absorbing its bountiful energy. It was about half the size of a pen long, and was about a coin's size around. She clasped it in her hand, bringing it to her forehead.
"Mother..."
She whispered to herself. She knew there was more to this earring than simply being an heirloom. Not quite ready to try and find the answer at the minute, she reattached it to her ear, and continued her aimless walk. Suddenly, a noise sounded off to the east of her. It seems I'm not the only one out here, she thought. Could it be them? Had they found her after all this time...? Slowly bringing herself to the ground, she placed one hand on her sword and the other in front, gently touching the grass. She didn't want to take any chances with her luck...
