Trouble At The Dead Reckoning.

[Margrett]

It was a quiet morning in Wistvale when a young woman ran in from the direction of the graveyard, looking behind her in fear. She ran into the town square, yelling at the top of her lungs.

Help! Please, someone help! There's trouble at the graveyard!

The woman, on closer inspection, was clearly not well....

[Zaedus]

Zaedus, who just so happened to be on patrol, heard the cries of the woman.

What kind of trouble is at the...

Upon closer inspection of the woman, he jumped back, sword in hand and at the ready.

What in the world? What manner of creature are you?

He asked, he did not immediately resort to just lopping off her head, however he waited to see if he would get some sort of intelligible response. Maybe even find out if the trouble at hand was bringing forth the dead....

[Rue]

Rue was walking through town when she heard a woman shouting.

More people in need of assistance? she thought, remembering the overturned and burning cart she had encountered. She ran towards the voice and saw a slightly sick-looking woman in the town square.

"What happened to you?" she inquired, her eyes wide.

[Margrett]

The woman looked a little panicked and scared.

There's a...a necromancer in the Graveyard! He's at the bar, toying with all the people and not letting them leave! I got out because I was a paladin and could escape his magic, but I can't go back in! You both are living...you have to help me!

She seemed like she finally heard Zaedus' question and rolled her eyes.

Yes, I'm dead, I'm sorry. Can we move past that, please?

[Rue]

Looks like more undead adventures for me, Rue thought.

"Why can't you get back in?" Rue asked. She wasn't about to march into a graveyard to fight a necromancer without more information.

[Alec]

Hearing cries for help, Alec shrugs and wanders towards it. Not like he's got anything else happening at the moment. Ahem.

Listening to the dead woman intently, Alec raises an eyebrow. "Dead? You're the first dead thing that hasn't tried to gnaw on my skull. Ever. I'm interested."

[Margrett]

She held her head, frustrated.

We can do without the vitalism, please.

She looked to Rue.

He's going to have something worked up to keep me out in the time I'm gone. I managed to escape easy enough the first time.

[Alec]

"Vitalism?" he says, then chuckles. "That's a new one. Anyway. Powerful necromancer? Or just a dabbler? How many people have been animated? I'd really rather not go in there without having any information."

[Zaedus]

Zaedus replaced his blade across his shoulders in it's harness.

Then why are we here asking questions, wasting time, and above all else delaying her return to her final rest?

He looked to the re-animated paladin.

If you will excuse my bluntness can you take us there so we may provide the assistance you request?

[Rue]

Rue nodded her head.

"Let's go now, before it gets any worse. It doesn't matter how powerful the necromancer is, we need to get rid of him."

She motioned for the woman to show them the way.

[Margrett]

She nodded, jogging back to the Graveyard.

Follow me!

She led them to the Graveyard, and once there, walked to a mausoleum that looked like any other. The stone door was sealed, but the paladin knocked on it.

It's Sarah. Open up.

The door ground open and she turned to them.

I can't go any further. He'll try and act like nothing's wrong, but the bar patrons will look scared, trust me. Just go down and into the back room.

She gave them a strange look.

I know this seems like a trap, but the undead here are all good folks. Wistvale's graveyard is a good place for undead to stay.

[Alec]

Staying quiet until the door scrapes open, Alec opens his mouth to say something, but is cut off by the dead girl. Waiting until she's finished, Alec turns to the living folk present. "See, now, I really don't like this. We've got no information, we're heading into what is - apparently - a zombie hangout, with a possibly extremely powerful necromancer inside. Does this reek of trap to anyone else, or am I just crazy?"

[Zaedus]

Zaedus nodded in response to Alec.

Be it as it may, take the information given with a grain of salt lad, The former paladin may or may not be leading us into a trap. However do not be hasty to be on the offensive, the thought of a necropolis in Wistvale is unsettling but the words of this Sarah may be true and they are friendly.

The Worgen headed inside the haven for the dead.

[Rue]

"Unsettling, yeah, but I don't doubt it for a second," Rue muttered under her breath. "Crazy town... undead everywhere..."

Shaking her head, she walked into the mausoleum behind Zaedus, then stopped and turned back to Alec.

"I don't like it much either, but the big bad worgen will protect us if anything goes wrong," she said with a smile in Zaedus's direction. Grabbing Alec by the arm, she pulled him into the mausoleum. "Come on, let's just go."

[Alec]

Sighing, Alec allows himself to be pulled into the mausoleum. "Big bag worgen or no, I still don't like it. But, I suppose, if someone's in trouble, we really should help..." Sighing once more, Alec starts moving under his own power.
