His blood hammered in his chest, throat and was roaring in his ears. The cold night air burned into his nose like wildfire, washed through his senses and fueled his muscles.
He leaped again, feet sending a tile scattering; to clatter on the road long after he'd passed. It came at him fast, the rise and falls of the rooftops, the ever changing options, platform and tightropes, the possibilities of free running through the growing town of Wistvale.
Quickly silently, still bare except for his pants, his now bare feet drummed a rhythm through the sleepy town as he explored. He knew it well but each landing brought a new path, another choice, another leap....
Again. The floating in the air for but a moment, the freedom that it gave him, only to come back down, feet immediately churning over the landscape, arms pumping furiously at his sides. He knew were he was going....
... but stopped. The new prison, the Captain's new residence laid in the street before him. He studied it a second... and then sat.
Grayell looked down on her with eyes that were lost in thought. He smiled but it wasn't all there - sincere but marred by something that had him bothered. He shrugged.
Grayell's hand runs up her neck to the back of her head. He waits until she looks at him.
Then you need to listen to me. Be wary who you prey on. You draw any more attention to yourself and he'll be on you in an instant. That, or you'll have new enemies. I...
Grayell swallows and looks back to the stars.
Liseth I would die for you. You know this. But I would rather that didn't become the case. Be picky Kitten, it's better for you anyways.
He gave her a smile and then sat up. He looks to the prison in front of them.
But really. That's our new prison. I don't want to see you in it.
Yeah, yeah. I don't think two people on a roof would be a whole lot less suspicious, though. She shifted herself, back into human. She still rubbed her face against his head.
Grayell reverted back to his usual self, nuzzling her back which resulted in a kiss. It lasted a moment and his hand rested on her cheek before he pulled away and looked at her for a moment. Her beauty entranced him.
Grayell held his arm around her and took her hand in his. It was small compared to his own, ge looked at them together.
I want you to stay with me. You know this. I want us to not be controlled by this curse. You know that too. I want us... well to be perfect Liseth.
So.
His eyes grew slightly cold and he looked past the roof tops and to the wilds.
Time I made a move. I need to know about the pack. How many. Their habits, where I can find them but most of all... his betas. I want to know everything you can tell me, because I am going to kill them.
