She looked towards Grayell, blushingly slightly, as she bowed towards him.
"T...Tallia... p... pleased to meet you...."
Unable to maintain eye contact for very long, her gazed drifted eleswhere.
Alec [M:118:6:][D3v:http://rpgmenagerie.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=cs&thread=412&page=1#1242]"I see," said the blind man to the deaf lady.[0:Wandering the stacks.][1:Present and accounted for.]
"I've got a question," Alec says, devouring the last scraps of some sort of meat. "Why're you fawning over Marg so much? I mean, it's nice, and all. But the crest, for a shirt, which looks expensive. The house. The.....well, the whatever you took her out of the room for. You just trying to get in her pants? Or did you already, and you've flarbed up somehow? Just curious, is all."
Come in under the shadow of this red rock, and I will show you something different from either your shadow at morning, striding behind you, or your shadow at evening, rising to meet you. I shall show you fear in a handful of dust.
Grayell's eyes widen at the onslaught of questions. He laughs though.
Pull up a chair and dig in Chaz. The Captain needed some rest is all.
Alright. Alec. Since you're so direct (grin) I'll do the same. I owed her a shirt and had promised to help her settle in her house as a favor. She wanted a prison, wasn't about to do that by halves. I consider Marg a friend and yes... I screwed that up pretty good the other day, so I am trying to make amends. No, her and I have not been intimate. Would I like to?
Grayell pondered that for a moment and drank some more. He wasn't sure how honest to be about that.
Well. I have... err... recently had to deal with some confrontation due to my nature of flirting with pretty women. That didn't entail Marg of course. Now... you know what? I would. But I can't say that I much care for the occasional shag anymore and whilst Marg would likely solve a lot of my dilemmas relationship wise, it's not gonna happen. Not her type and I would venture to say she's not looking for commitment. She's a damn good woman though. Plus, her and I together would likely scare the shit out of the lot of you.
Grayell laughed for a moment and smiled. It was a humorous but pleasant thought.
Anyways. She reminds me of someone I was very fond of. That's complicated. I like her for who she is... but it's hard to not have the memories you know? Anything else you wanted to know?
Grayell gave him the raised eyebrow and smug look treatment.

Gray finished his drink and was into another. He looked at Venom and stretched back.
I am from the plains northwest of here and everywhere else. I grew up on the land in a nomadic community, just me and my family. That's a long time ago.
I wound up in Wistvale as a mercenary and a drunk. A lot more drinking than work as I recall, but I.... helped Daniel downstairs with some problems so he and I are on very good terms.
I took a shine to the place. Now it's home.

Devouring another shred of yakow, Alec shrugs. "No. Not really. The only thing I have to say is, this is not something one does simply because you said you'd help a friend settle, or that you owe them a shirt." He takes a deep drink of water. "Don't get me wrong here, I'm loyal and good to my friends, but this," he says, gesturing around, "and that," he says, meaning the jail, the dress (though he didn't rightly know it), and the shirt, "is extravagant. An extravagance fit for one you owe your life to. Or more." He takes another drink. "But that's just my take on things, and there's no way a man such as myself is well in the head, so take whatever I say with a few grains of salt."

Owe her my life? Well you know, in some sense I do. And she has saved my skin. I could well be dead if not for her ability to kick ass.
Grayell shrugs and decided it's time to eat something.
It's complicated Alec - it always is. Call me sentimental. I don't mind talking about it though, you're entitled to your opinion. I could probably use the advice.
Gray looked at an empty chair with no Margrett in it and sighed.
Venom continued chewing away and drinking booze. He was off duty anyways and knew he had to take advantage of every single free time he had. This time it was with the folk of Wistvale. He almost choked when he heard Grayell say he wouldn't mind shacking with Marg. Looks like the captain has favoritism after all. He wondered if that would be a problem working as a guard under them. Nodding at the things said around the table, he takes another look around to see who else was around.

Shrugging, Alec licks grease off of his fingers, and reaches for something else to gnaw on. "Advice about what, exactly?"

Venom notices Chaz and wonders where all these cats are coming from. Is he related to Tallia? What caught his interest more was this Alec guy. He sure liked to get all up on Grayell's business. Venom wondered if he was another guard high in rank.

Smiling, Alec finishes his rib, and gnaws on the bone for a moment. "You'd not ask me that if you knew me well," he laughs. "My eye? It's on everyone that walks in front of me. In the manner you speak? Just on most of them." Laughing, he finishes his water, and reaches for a tankard of ale, and takes off a good bit. "But in a serious, long term sense?" He rubs at his chin, looks down at greasy fingers, and licks them clean. "No. No, not really. Why, you got someone you're lookin' out for? I mean other than Miss Serenity."
