Kerag bellowed a deep laugh, shaking his head.
"You don't want to my friend. It's more work than its worth."
The orc stood back, admiring Chaz's handy-work. He reached for the handle and opened it with ease, walking into the house. Kerag turned around and gave a thumbs up.
"Excellent craftsmanship Charles, finally my abode isn't open to the elements any longer. Thank you!"
Yeah, I got a few plans. One for this umm... He jumped off the stool and gestured vaguely.
It's ahh...see, it's a tube that has a chemical called Elven Fire inside it that has a rapid temperature reaction when it meets oxygen. It'll have a compressed container on one end and a pump that'll push out the liquid, letting it catch fire when it hits the air.
A good scientist is a person with original ideas. A good engineer is a person who makes a design that works with as few original ideas as possible.
Kerag found the description fascinating, and nodded his head, even though he didn't understand the mechanics of the design as well as he would have liked. He found Chaz's ideas revolutionary and enticingly interesting.
"How curious Charles, I should like to see this demonstrated when you make it."
The orc watched him finish the wall and stood, patting Chaz on the back.
"Thanks again, my house was in dire need of repairs. You work magic Charles."
