In game. And it's not money, it's credit. Here's the deal.
The stores are now open. All of them, except Daenien's which needs some work when he gets back.
Now, this is credit accepted in ALL stores, whether NPC or player driven.
You must spend this credit by next Sunday or you lose it. You can put it towards a larger purchase, so on and so forth. You can give it to someone else, whatever you like.
I ask that you consider all goods in the game. Jumping straight on equipment may be a bad idea. With potions fully available, GMs will be hurting you and enticing you to use them. The same applies to other tools and gear - expect to run into problems that you just wish you had that one item for.
Characters can be more versatile just by bringing some handy items. You may not be the best warrior or mage, but you might have brought the rope everyone needs. Diversify, look at load outs before you go on an adventure.
But do not neglect your character's needs. You might regret it
REMEMBER in the future, to post your loadout when you start an adventure. It lets the GM now what you have and can make things much smoother. Don't complain when your firesword doesn't deal fire damage because you didn't inform the GM you have it.
Also remember rules for carrying usable items.
ALSO remember you cannot buy something in a store and then suddenly have it magically appear on your character in an adventure. Regardless of what you buy or change, your character is stuck with their loadout until that adventures end.

Despite how generous a 100 gold in credit is, I'd have to decline for I cannot find an in character reason to suddenly have money or the urge to spend it on equipment for that matter. So, first to post in here gets my 100 credit. Remember it goes to waste if you don't use it up by end of business tomorrow.
Yeesh. You didn't suddenly get money. The council opened the market and as a boon to the economy gifted all residents some credit to encourage interest.
Today is your last day to take advantage of this. IF you decide to give it to someone else (which seems to be the trend) then give it to me dammit lol.
