The people of Wistvale have spoken and appointed a council with which to see some law and civility brought to Wistvale. The appointed representatives of the council are Grayell, Serenity and Orp Boon.
All official council meetings are held within the council hall and all people's of Wistvale are encouraged to attend. All are permitted to speak but we ask that you do so politely in order to better facilitate proceedings.
Should the council be called upon to make decisions, it is by a majority vote. Should a council member be absent from the meeting, the other two representatives must agree on their vote.
Council representatives are permitted one advisor each, approved by the board as a whole. This is to better represent the diversity and interests with Wistvale. Advisors are not permitted to vote on rulings however.
The council will operate an dedicated town guard as well as see to the restoration of the town and the improvement of fair trade as well as other pursuits.
The council will also publicly post laws that they vote to approve and those laws will be observed by the people. Ignorance of any law does not mean exemption for the offender.
Should a trial be required in any infraction of the law, the accused will have a defense representative appointed to and approved by them. If they do not agree to the appointment of a reputable representative, they are permitted to represent themselves. An impartial prosecutor will also be appointed by the council.
All proceedings are open to the public with the exception of matters which are considered of severe importance and required to be discussed in private prior to that information being released. Such meetings will not be noted.
